‘How can she love something that doesn’t have a heart?’ Sweet, shy, and a hopeless romantic, Aurora Clemens. She was happy to finally be out of her parents house and off to college. She was ready to make new friends, fall in love and finally come out of her shell.
Roman James is a sophomore and is the typical cliche bad boy. He hangs out with the same people, he gets into fights, and he doesn’t do relationships. People were scared of Roman and had every right to be. Everyone on campus has heard the rumors and he doesn’t deny them. He is a diagnosed psychopath. . “A person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior.”
Roman knows he is a psychopath and he takes pride in it. He can’t feel emotions such as love or anger, he took joy in hurting others. He was a lunatic. When he sees Aurora on campus all he wants to do is ruin her. Other people saw him for what he was but she was blinded by ignorance. She saw someone who needed love and he hated that. He hated her. She followed him like a lost puppy despite her roommates protest against it.
He was gonna enjoy hurting her and she didn’t care that she was gonna get hurt. But what happens when he starts feeling something for her. It wasn’t love but it was something else. The voices in his head seemed to go away when she was around and he hated that. He didn't want to be around her but he couldn't let her go. She wanted to love him despite the fact he was hurting her. She wanted to be the reason for his sanity.
“Your gonna get hurt little girl” He looked at me with a smirk. “I know.” He shook his head at me and sighed. "Your a fucking dumbass." I flinched at his harsh words but ignored them. "My mind is a mess. I'm not gonna fucking love you Aurora." He walked away and I followed. "Your mind is extraordinary, and I can love me enough for the both of us." "Don't say I didn't warn you princess." We walked away from the car as I smiled at him. In retrospect I should have listened to his warning.

The male lead is very toxic. There also will be mentions of murder. This book will be focusing on his psychotic behavior so please be aware that their relationship will not be normal.
This book will be slow paced but not that slow. There will be slight mentions of suicide but not that deep. The male lead will harm himself and others. There will also be mentions of rape and abuse.
