Sorrowful Soul

She sits there

A pool of blood

Circles around her

As she falls asleep

No dreams come

The pain that has been afflicted on her

Is pouring out

The crimson stain will not wash away

Her wrists are ribbons

Will you tie them together?

Will you save her?

She is now laying down

A lifeless form in this dark world

No one will care

No one will see

She fades away, in and out

She lived in this world

Everyone turned her away

She lived once, but died that day

Was told her whole life

She failed

She's worthless

And in the end

She went cold

Is there anyone who will find her?

Anyone at all?

To hold her as she fades

Into that black hole?

To tell her she's okay

That she is not a burden?

It's too late now

Death welcomes her at his door

She runs to his open arms

In pain no more.

She sobs as he holds her

He tells her it's alright

Then ties together the ribbons

That she sliced

She walks away

Finally freed if the strife

Death follows behind her

A smile on his lips

For he gained a sorrowful and sad soul

That needed life
