ONE : A STRANGE CASE
I went out in a work . There sat down then the three --- Topshe , Susmita and Shooktika in the office . It was going to strike one o'clock . Suddenly pushing the glass door behind Raghunandan who entered into the office room , seeing her all the three thought that she was an European lady . Topshe stood up and welcomed her and told ,
-- Please be sitted .
This time she spoke ,
-- Want to meet with Banerjee --- Mr. Jeet Banerjee .
Which country's people Topshe could not understand . Other two was only the on looker . But Topshe was sure that she is not the English . He entreated ,
-- Please take your seat , he will be here any moment .
The European lady occupied the chair which was before him and sat down . She wore ordinary geans pant and half sleeves Guernsey . There was glasses with a black thin frame on her eyes , mostobly the chromatic glasses and was the shoes --- is it Bata's ? Topshe became doubtful . Susmita was looking calmly . By this time she bended down toward Shooktika and said ,
-- However , her eyes are like the fox !
It was not understand that which country's people she is , and observing her eyes they thought that , seeing the ordinary office and them too , both were not liked by her . Her doubtful eyes were passing often to touch the three . Shooktika said ,
-- Don't care . She is not more than a client of us .
I had got the news of arrival of an European lady from Raghunandan at the down stairs . So as I entered the office , I said ,
-- Hallo Miss Van Hutten I am very sorry . How long are you ?
-- A couple of minutes .
-- Please come this side .
Saying it I went and sat down into my cube . The lady came and sat down before me and make a strange sound through the nose . Then she opened her leather ladies bag and brought out a fat and a thin envelopes from it and said ,
-- All tickets are here . After reaching the Bapi Railway station , you will get my guy and he will give you the car also .
After I took those envelopes , she brought out another fatest envelope more . I guessed to see it's size that it was money . She informed me that there was five lakhs . She told that it was not desirable to meet with her . Her guy will reach before we get down at the Bapi Railway station . He will supply of our requaired weapons there . If you need more money , then as you will tell , he will give that to you . Then she got up and said ,
-- Now I am going . One more thing , how many days you need to complete that work?
I told her that I have no idea Miss Hutten . But I will try to finish it as soon as possible.
-- Mr. Banerjee , is the work possible ?
-- Possible .
I told with smile .
After retiring of Miss Vivienne Van Hutten I looked into the eyes of three of them and opened the thin envelope . From it emerged the three pages , on which was written about the work and it's details . It was written in typed . I thought , still they are not using the computer !
