Chapter 1

Sapphire

One glance got me recollecting about him all weekend. I still can't believe he had the guts to even ask me out in front of my pathetic partner. In hearing her friend's speech Tina was left muted like the day she was born. Her pupil dilated, mouth wide open and her face expressed all diverse fervour.

Sapphire couldn't stop herself from giggling as she recalled Tina's expression. She found herself yet again daydreaming about Mr Grey, his fascinating features, those dark brown eyes she got lost in, his hair she desperately wanted to touch. She instantly felt a connection with him that even when their eyes locked withdrawal felt pointless.

Mr Grey

Just as the restaurant door opened my eyes connected with her own. Her smile left me motionless. I could look at her all day and still not get enough of her beauty, I laughed the thought away as I walked towards Mike. I knew this feeling was mutual when I saw her look at me from the corner of her eyes. Mike lifted his hands waving at me to come in his direction. He was so lucky I didn't lose my temper cause I despise people who snatch glamour out of my sight. I couldn't hear a word Mike said heeding to the new business opening cause I was already daydreaming about my woman under my arms. My anger blurred my judgement as I saw this good for nothing boy drawing circles on her arm. The meeting wasn't even halfway over but I couldn't take it anymore so I did the most ridiculous thing and approached this asshole good for nothing boy.

I just didn't consume time, so I took my woman's hand, kissed it, introduced myself and asked her out. I left my card and walked away ... didn't forget to kiss her behind her ear while I whispered how beautiful she looked.

Dedicated to my soulmate sister ThandileMbuma.
