Chapter 1 - How it began

This Story, unlike others, does not start with the beautiful princess or the fearless hero. Our beginning is with the creation of the universe. Because what most do not know, is how old the universe is and the care that is taken to maintain it.

When the universe was just created, it was by complete accident. You see, there was a young goddess who craved for another to keep her company. She did not have distinct features, but instead, her body contained the universe we know today. This goddess wanted not a lover or man by her side but a child, someone she could cherish and watch grow. And so, she created a child in her image, as radiant as the brightest light and with a heart as soft as her own. She granted her child a physical body and the powers she also had. The graceful goddess took time in every feature and once she was done, she gave her daughter a home, one they would share.

Over time, their home grew, there were houses and people, animals and beauty in everything the goddess created. She created a husband, along with an older brother and sister for her daughter. But, nothing stays perfect. Over time, the older sister grew jealous of her younger sisters gifts. She grew hateful of her family and without a second thought she tore it all apart. She trapped her younger sister and banished her parents to another realm. As for her brother, he went missing. She took up her mothers crown and ruled their little kingdom as she pleased.

These events took place so long ago that even for us, they are just legends. In fact, our story starts with the creation of a new universe. One created by another Goddess. Unlike in the legends, this goddess was not perfect by any means. She was rough around the edges, carefree and didn't even know where to start.
Now, I bet you're wondering why I told you about the old legend if I was just going to start here right? Well, all good things take time and we wouldn't have much of a story if I skipped straight to the ending. I know, why don't I tell you more about our young goddess?

Our goddess is tall and slender, she has long black hair, always unkept in messy curls and her eyes are blood red. She tends to wear mostly black dresses. You may of heard of her title, to most, she is known as Satan. A demon with unparalleled strength. However, I think you'll find that young Satan isn't as bad as would seem. Actually, if you met her, you wouldn't know she's Satan at all. To most that know her well enough, her name is Hersilia. And this is her story.

Hersilia was always fond of the old legend and wanted so desperately to follow in those footsteps. She had envisioned a huge universe, more diverse than the one in the tale. A universe thriving with life in every corner. But before creating the universe she set herself a task. In order to start creation she must first create 10 lifeforms. These 10 would serve as the "gods" of each species, each with a different set of talents.

The first of her creations was a demon god. Being a demon, she knew how to fashion this leader the easiest and so it would serve as a warm up exercise. To start with, she gave the demon a body, they would look mostly human and would be the opposite gender to herself. She gave him large black wings to fly and long horns to portray his high rank as a demon. Hersilia gave him shoulder length black hair that got much shorter on the other side and a pair of ruby red eyes. She gave him a heart and soul, a voice and mind and the will to build his own personality. Once she was satisfied, she gave him a name. The demon god would be known as Phobos.

Phobos stuck to Hersilia's side and over many years she taught him to gradually use his demon powers and how he would guide the demons once she was finished with creation. They became very close friends over time and would enjoy every moment together. One day, once Hersilia was happy with the progress made she turned to Phobos and asked,
"Phobos, I think I'm finally ready for my next creation. But with so many options, I don't know what to pick. Would you like to pick for me?" His face lit up with a huge grin and without hesitation he chose the Angel God.

The Angel god would be the opposite of demons but similar in many ways also. They would have long white hair and sapphire blue eyes, with large feathered wings also in pure white. Hersilia fashioned her to be female and made her a beautiful white dress. She was given a soft voice and a kind heart and at the very end, she was given her name as the Angel Goddess. Her name would be Sarah.
