Gratifying to read
"Had this book recommended by a friend and boy am I glad I took the suggestion. First book on this app for me, a bit of a break from printed books and a break from binging high fantasy books. It's nice to be surprised by realistic characters with some meat and not some caricatures, and to really get into those characters and not have to go through 100+ new characters, a thing I didn't even realize I got used to. Very glad to have read this work to shake me up a bit. 4.5/5, would love to see a bit more production behind this work to smooth the edges."

"This book is unlike anything I've ever read before. The author has a very unique writing style and an original approach to character portrayal. The entire book is a great example of mastering the "show, don't tell" principle in writing which makes it that more suspenseful. My favorite character is Konstantin because the author did an excellent job layering this character so reading it I felt like I was getting to know a real person."
