Chapter 1

They talk about wars like the Ukraine war, World War II, Vietnam, Iraq, but one thing: society never talks about the wars in our bodies. There are more body wars than physical wars. They are a bigger deal honestly. Thankfully, we have soldiers in our body called cells T-Cells. I am in a man’s body named Teveon. My name is Saibō. Cellua is my friend's name. We are best friends. We spend every moment in battle together. At least the time we go into battle that is. We try to stay out of that the best we can. But, when duty calls, duty calls.

We lived in a city that is near the stomach now that it's in the summer. The closer you get to the bottom of the body the hotter it gets because of gas. Gas makes things hotter. It's kind of like the equator. There are lots of mountains by the intestines. It's got more mountainous the further down you go. Basically, we make the world go round and if we lose just one war are lives could be over. It's not all up to us either it's up to the host to do his part. Unfortunately, that doesn't always happen though. As the saying goes, you control what you can control.

Tonight I'm going out with my friend Cellua. I'm going to go to a Italian restaurant with him. There they have my favorite kind of Spaghetti. Fresh from the stomach thats were we get all our food. Right before it goes into the stomach they use a net to grab some of the food. Obviously not to much enough for him to survive. Portions are not super big in the body and that's how we're able to support so much food to different restaurants.

I was driving my car east to reach the Italian restaurant. If General Kakash needs us he will call us. Because, we were in the military we didn't have time to go to restaurants very much but in good easy going times like this, we can do what ever brings us serotonin. But, you never know when a war can break out so we have to pay attention to our notifications.

We were there. Me and Cellua. We then look up and say. “Table for two.” The guy smiled and brought us to our seats. We then see a waiter come right up to us. “What would you like to drink.” Drinks worked the same way as food. We choose are drinks then started at each other for one hot minute like the red hot chili peppers. Cellua just smiled. I guess what other way to put someone In a good mood than smiling. “Hey,” I remark awkwardly. “Hello it's weird talking during non busy times.” I nod my head in agreement. We then both got our drinks. We immediately siped out of them. Cherishing the drink we had. Because, we could be in battle any minute and be dealing with the chilly weather. Personally, not a fan. The trauma has made me realize that though, that treats taste that much sweater, so when I am battling fear I think of treats like this and how good they will taste on the otherside. Me and Cellua talk each other's heads off, but before I knew it dinner was at the table.

I started taking little bites cherishing the treat I was having. I stopped taking a bite then got up to go to the bathroom. I push the bathroom door open. Then hop into one of the stalls with my phone in my pocket. I pee. I smell the freedom. I don't smell weapons, it was interesting the smell pee In a public bathroom smelled good, better than what I had to deal with In war. I sit there for a moment thinking. Then all the sudden I get a buzz coming from my pocket. Oh great. The message. It made me slam my head right into a wall. That message Is the last thing I want to see on my treat day. That message just plain old sucks. I exit the bathroom with an agitated glare at Cellua. He then runs up to me and pats my shoulder. “It's going to be okay.” What a friend I have. If anything in this life, I have him a guy I can always count on to make me happy. A guy that is ridiculously, unimaginably sweet to my soul. Now it's time to fight with that guy. I won't leave his side for a second that's my plan.

We exit the restaurant. We go hop In the car. And go to the battleground up north in the Tonsils. Where ninety percent of our wars are fought. Before I knew it, I was there. General Kakash directed us to hop into the war. We take our guns, and hop right in. This war is with Covid-19, the Delta strand. We have never fought this hard of a fight. This is new territory for us. And we have to fight for Teveons body. We can't our host dies, or we die, and we want to carry on the rest of our life with our loved ones and friends. That is the way life should be, a long life of many friendships and incredible family memories with members new to the family and old, were fighting to see them. Let's win this, or at least try our best. That's all you can ask for at the end of the day.

Me and Cellua dodge a big bomb coming towards us. We get right behind a barricade to start things off. We hold each other's hand and At that moment I felt somewhat safe. Noises were all around us like a concert there was no side you couldn't hear, Just pure noise from every direction. Thathat's life you have no choice but to get used to. The war feels like a lifetime. But me and Cellua. WERE GOING TO GET THROUGH THIS!
