Chapter 1
"And that was how there was peace in the world once again "
Mrs Walker said as she walked around her desk packing her books
"Have a good day everyone and I hope you all enjoy your summer school camp"
She said once again before exiting the class. I heard groans from some people and others made happy giggles. We have a school camp coming up this weekend. I had other plans for this summer like working extra hard in order to save enough money for the next semester. I also made some arts out of paperwork and decided to sell to the children who will go to the park and use that money to clear my old debts but since we will be going for this camping, I would have to forgo all my plans. I als have to use some of my previous savings to pay for the camping. As I was thinking about all these things, a silent tear fell from my eyes. I quickly wiped it and waited for our next teacher. I couldn't help myself to stop thinking about the fact that, I will drop out of school next semester. Sometimes, I want to quit and focus on working to save more money but I need the certificate too. I believe it will take me somewhere.
"Are you okay Ms Johnson? "
I was quickly brought out of my trance by the tutors voice. When did he enter? I looked around to see many pair of eyes on me. I bent my neck only to see a portion of my uniform wet from my tears. This even triggered the remaining tears to fall but I held back with all my willpower.
"Are you fine? "
Mr Bush asked once again with his hands on my shoulder. I did nothing but shake my head as a yes. The remaining lesson went on but my mind was still not around
