Stories have been told about creatures of the night, who stalk, frighten and kill their unsuspecting prey. It is not so in my world.
Our people know the truth.
We do not fear the creatures that hide in the shadows of darkness. We know our greatest enemies are those who walk in the openness of day.
We know that those ones are fearless. To them, light causes no harm. For us, it brings no redemption.
It is in the brightness that our fears and their power are illuminated the best.
