The Introduction

Hi, my names Kendsey I'll tell more about myself later.

I never knew I was so called 'trapped' here.

That was until I met a boy.

Who told me everything.

I changed.

Let me just tell you the story....

Takes place under the sea

"Daddy! Vanessa's pulling my hair again!"

The blonde mermaid screams at the top of her lungs.

"What?! No I am not! Your hair is just so ratty!"

The other blonde mermaid responds

"Shut up you guys!"

The older blonde yells at them both.

They shut up.

But not for long.

"Ow!!" The blonde cries

"Sorry! If you would just stop moving!"

"Be quiet!"

Back and forth and back and forth.

All morning.

Every morning.

Stella, The youngest, age 10. Beautiful blonde, super long hair, spectacular eyes too, one dark green the other dark blue, and a crooked smile.

Vanessa, the middle child, age 12, Naturally a brunette but dyed it to be blonde. Short, shoulder length hair with bright blue eyes and the perfect smile. The young merboys always fall for her, but Father says no.

Marrissa, The oldest, 18, Naturally a blonde and has kept it that way. Dark black eyes and perfect teeth of course. The merboys always fall for her just like Vanessa, She has dated at least 15 in the past year and recently just broke up with one of them.

Father, George is his name, 'daddy' in Stella eyes.

I would totally say he's the replica of King Tritant but, I'd be lying, he's the exact opposite.

I'm sorry George.

He is the great- great- great- great- grandson of Posidon, God of the sea,

That's a lot of 'greats'.

He used to be war fighting, muscular, bold kind of dude and had all the merladies falling for him but Its been 30 years and he's retired.

He's a great dad though, he took Vanessa and I under his wing a long time ago so we are basically family.

And he can cook!
Who doesn't want a dad that can't cook?!
He may not be able to chop sea dragons heads off, but he can chop vegetables for dinner!

Kendsey for short.
I'm 16, I have long dark brown hair, light green eyes, and an okay smile.

No, the merboys don't fall for me.
Vanessa and I had a normal life until about 5 years ago.

It was just Van, me and my mom and it was a great life. Our family and George's were very good friends, then 2 years later George's wife died, my mom was always there for him and supported him through it all.

Then a year later George proposed!

Me and Van join the family and a month after the wedding our mom went missing.

We never saw her again and nobody knows who took her or where.

Fast forward 2 years later to present day.

Here we are with my step sisters and Van screaming in the morning.

"ow ow ow!!"

"I'm almost done!"

I'm sitting on the sea bed

(its basically like a huge cucumber)

grooming my hair while Vanessa is trying to do Stella's hair.

We are all in Stella's room because she has the best lighting out of the whole house so it's best to do hair in here.

Hey, the oceans pretty dark.

Usually, on any normal day, it would be Marrissa doing the girls hair but like I said she recently got dumped and she is taking it very hard in the other room.

All while telling us to shut up, constantly.

"are you almost done Van?"

I ask putting my fish hair brush done

"yes I am stell just needs to chill"

She responds

Offended, Stella turns around to look at her

"I do not need to chill!! you do!!"

Van puts her hands up in defeat and rolls her eyes

Stella's 10, She doesn't have many snappy comebacks like the rest of us do but it's okay because she's the youngest and gets away with litterally everything.

"girls I have an announcement!" George comes in the room with a very proud look.

Marrissa comes out of her room, opening the door a crack, I can see her face streaming with tears.

"make it quick" she snaps

Stella and Van both turn around to face him.

"You know how you guys have said you have hated this house for years"

We all nod

"And how the windows are broken so fish randomly swim through our house?"

We nod again

"and how you-"

"get to the point dad!"

Stella yells, the anticipation, killing her.

"we're moving!!!"

There's like 7 different reactions.

"wait no-"

"YAY!!!"

"Your joking right"

"heck yeah let's gooo"

George's smile fades when he sees 3 unhappy daughters.

"Guys I thought this is what you wanted"

Marrissa screams in frustration and slams the door.

"I guess not-"

how could we be moving? i feel like we just got here, well, Van and I.

George comes in the room and sits next to me on the bed.

"do you wanna move?" he turns and asks me

no I don't, I really really don't.

"yea george it's fine. I mean Van and I just got here so we aren't missing much."

His smile comes back.

Van finally finishes Stells hair and comes to sit next to me

"can i pick the new house dad? I want one with 6 different levels oh and can we have an indoor pool? oh and maybe a-"

George just laughs

"slow your roll kiddo"

Stella comes and sits on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"daddy I don't want to move"

She whispers quietly

"whys that?" he whispers back

"mommy loved this place"

It's true, George's 1st wife really did love this place.

They had the best sea garden In the whole ocean because she would always make sure the kelp was the perfect length, the turtles wouldn't come and eat the whole thing, and it would get the perfect beams of sunlight.

I loved that garden, it's not much of a garden anymore because the girls like to play and swim around it alot.

"I think this is the best decision for the family stell"

she starts to cry

"no daddy we can't, mommy will-"

"which is why we should move Stella, we can't keep holding onto mommy, and this house,"

She continues to cry.

I think its my turn to save the day

"Stell your mommy will always be in our hearts and guess what? she is watching us right now"

i point to the sky

She stops crying

"mommy's on land?"

We all laugh, She looks at us confused.
