It was a warm Monday summer morning, about 5 am when Lacey's alarm clock started to go off, as she rolled over to shut it off before it woke her best friend Kacie up. "Shut the fuck up, you stupid noise box!"
Lacey heard Kacie let out a groan. "You know babe, you are being louder then that alarm clock right?" As she rolled over and covered her head with Lacey's pillow.
Lacey Scoffed, as she shook her. "Jesus Christ Kace, lighten up a little will you? It isn't my fault you stay up all hours of the night smoking and drinking!"
Lace laughed a little as Kacie flipped her the middle finger. "Bite me bitch." She said, as she went back to sleep. "Love you too babe. see you later."
She placed a kiss on her head, before she started to get dressed for her first day at her new job. "Hmm, what to wear today?"
She took her phone out to see what the weather was supposed to be like today. "Cloudy, but humid with a 50% chance of thunderstorms at 9 am. Ugh!"
She growled at the sight of it, as she grabbed a pair of black capris that accommodated her ass very well showing off every curve she had.
Lacey checked herself over in the mirror, as she smiled. "Damn I look sexy as fuck!"
Her gay best friend Josh chuckled as he snuck up by the bathroom door. "For a straight girl, hell fucking yes baby!"
Lacey shook her head. "You look nervous about something. are you okay sweetie?" She gave him the worst the death stare, raising an eyebrow his way. "Don't you have a gay parade to get ready for? Don't wanna be late for it, you will miss your float!"
Lacey chuckled as she started to put a black tank top on, then a white t-shirt over top. "Ugh bitch!" Josh scoffed and rolled his eyes, as he walked back to the living room and sat down on the couch.
Lacey followed him out. "Oh come on Josh! Nobody knows how to take a fucking joke in this house anymore?"
She looked down at her phone to see what time it was. "Shit! gotta go, I told the human resources guy I would be there by 6:30 to finish up some paperwork."
Lacey grabbed a bagel and a propel, and threw them in her bag. "Bye Josh I love you, see you later!" She began to jog to work, as it started to thunder and lightning. "Damnit, it said no rain until 9 am!"
She picked up her pace, as the sky opened up and started to downpour. Lacey finally got to work, as she pulled a cigarette out from her bag.
She took a long drag of it, and inhaled. "You know those things will be the death of you, eventually if you don't stop, and you should stop. You are too beautiful to do that shit."
Lacey turned around to see a muscular guy with jet-black hair, and tattoos all over his arms. He had the most beautiful green eyes, she has ever seen in a man.
This man was a heart-throb smoking on a vape. 'Thanks I guess... My name is Lacey. I start working here today."
She smiled as Jon put his hand out for her to shake. "I'm Jon, one of the supervisors here." He smiled at her. "Nice to meet you. Could you possibly show me where the human resource Managers office is please?"
Jon nodded his head, as he grabbed Lacey's hand to help her up. "Well of course, it's just through these double doors."
The two of them walked through the doors, and seen an office that said H.R Manager. Jon knocked twice, as the door opened. "Hey Mr. T, this is Lacey. I figured I would bring her to you since I was on break. She just wasn't sure where your office was."
Robert Thomas. He was a big muscular black guy, with a beautiful smile. "Thanks Jon. You can go back to work now, I think I got it from here."
Jon nodded at him, and flashed a smile at Lacey. "Okay just page me if I am needed. See you at lunch Lace. Have a good first day."
Lacey smiled at him. "Thank you so much for your help Jon! See you later"
Mr. T cleared his throat, as he began to speak. "So Lace, ready for the grand tour? Lacey nodded, as she put on her safety glasses and earplugs in, as she just seen him do. "Yep all set."
