In Awe Of You
I stand here in awe of all you were.
Its time to turn my back on all our memories.
Its hard to stop the tears from falling
with you not here with me I’m consumed with all this fear and regret.
I feel so lost , compared to when you were still alive.
Right now the way i feel don’t think i will survive.
I feel that I’m to deep ensnared.
In a web of my own lies and mistakes.
I’m drowning but i don’t want to be saved,
Because living without you is not the same its not living at all.
You promised not even when you die.
But some promises in life are meant to be broken.
But death is cold and harsh.
It stops at nothing,to take who or what it wants
Its something that is impossible to control or even fight.
it was us against the world ,singing a duet.
now i am not even sure .
i can get through it.
without you here.
even the strongest people,breakdown sometimes.
you’ve been there by my side through the good and bad times.
I trusted you but you let me down...
now all i wanna do is get out of this Alive
