The Box of Books
Bored out of my mind, I got up from bed after my 20-minute nap and thought of something fun to do. I started to roam around the room in search of something to do when at the corner of my eye I saw a big brown box beside my shelf. That box looked like it sat there for ages, it had cobwebs and dust all over it. I opened the box and it was filled with many types of books. There were comic books, colouring books, and novels. I picked a book that read “The myth of the mutant pigeon monster.” It seemed interesting so I sat on my bed and started reading it. The book said, “There once was a pigeon who accidentally drank some radioactive waste that was spilled from a nuclear power plant. The pigeon’s eyes suddenly turned red, it grew bigger and bigger, and crooked horns sprouted from its head. This was the birth of the mutant pigeon monster. A monster that would terrorize every town in the country and eat every human it sees. The monster is still roaming out there, waiting for its next prey.”
