samaira's pov
"Mom have you seen my black shoes? I can't find them here" I yell while looking for my black sports shoes under my bed.
"I swear to God samaira open your eyes and look carefully, if I come over there and I find them I'm gonna whoop you" mom yells back
yeah that's it, it's better if I find it myself, I mumble
After looking for it everywhere I find them in the same place where I looked first but oh well I'm blind I guess?

I slip my shoes in my legs and I run down for breakfast. It was my first day today but wait I didn't introduce myself.I'm Samaira King, yeah I'm an anglo indian . Your typical anglo indian girl who moved to Texas . I loved my dad alot, but I hated his job because of this we always had to move around i had to leave everything behind starting from square 1 everywhere. So as I was saying it was my first day today and yeah I was nervous as fuck. New school, new place and no friends. Idk how I'm going to survive this.
"This girl is lost in her thoughts again" My mom snaps her fingers in front of me and I come back from my thoughts.

I look at my mom mimicking her having my breakfast.
It was already 8 am and I had to leave because I knew it was going to be tough for me to find my class I got up kissing my dad and hugging my mom but she got up with me and we started walking towards the door.
"Behave well okay? It's your first day we don't want any complaints on the very first day" She straightens my collar and kisses my forehead.
"Yes maa I know, and don't worry nothing will happen" She chuckles
"It better not, now go or else you'll be late"I hug my mom and close the door behind me.
