Talking to the moon [Part 1]
As I sat under the sky
Throwing pebbles in the sea
I made a wish on a shooting star
That disappeared just like you
The moon in its full size
Lightening up the whole sky
Looked at me with sympathy
Already knowing what I had asked for
Why do you seem so sad?
I asked the moon, noticing her tears
But in those tears what I saw
Was more than just sympathy
In this world there are many like you
Helplessly far away from the one they love
Many have stood in the spot you're at
But you're the first to ask why I'm sad
Shocked and confused I stood there facing her
Not knowing what to say next
Never knew that just like us
She looked bright outside but gloomy inside
Taking a deep breath I managed to say
The sun burns to light you up
The world admires the beauty you are
Then what is it that upsets you this much?
Don't you have a loving family and friends?
Don't you have a bright future ahead?
She looked at me right in the eye
Then what is it that upsets you this much?
Suddenly it was all crystal clear
What made her tears fall when she saw me
The wish I had made on the shooting star
Is the wish she made regularly
She for the sun
And me for you
