Chapter 1
The birthday
It was the morning sunrise 6:30 cause, Thursday morning. Today was my best friend Amelia’s birthday. I have planned birthday balloons i was going to pick up before i went to school and chocolates with a teddy bear. I was so hyped until i got to school. I got dressed and walked to school at about 6:50.
I got to school and saw Amelia she looked devastated for some reason and i walked up to her as i was walking up to her i thought to myself, why was she so , so devastated? And so when i was 4 inches or less away from her she looked up and her face looked so cold. When I approached her i dropped all the gifts i had planed for her and what i saw.. i was shocked! There was blood on her under her eye and above her eyebrow some on her forehead and her lip had been cut open deeply. And once she looked up and saw my face she looked down.
“A-A-Amelia?” I said stuttering , she started to look up at me so could see her full face.
“Naomi, I- I” she was stuttering as well as i was but shakily. She continued to look down and then noticed the gifts and stared at those.
“Naomi, I didn’t know what to do!” She said, still looking down, she started crying and broke down into my arms and there was blood all over her white jacket and on my polo shirt. I wanted to know what happened but i didn’t at the same time. She finally looked up at me fully.
I ran to the bathroom to get a tissue and i wet it with water and put it on Amelia’s head firmly.
“WE HAVE TO GET YOU TO A NURSE!” I said , i was really worried of what happened and i took the tissue off and there more blood came out! We were sitting by the gate under a tree, no one would have seen us because school had started and everyone was in class.
“No, you can’t go to a nurse, i’ll be in so much trouble… you have to promise not to”, she said but her voice was very weak and she looked very pale she had long blonde straight hair and wore a white jacket and shorts with a patterned tank top.
“WE HAVE TO GET YOU HELP YOUR TURNING PA-!” she fainted before i could finish my sentence.
I tried to pick Amelia up, I really tried but i couldn’t I tried again but with all my strength i had but i just couldn’t. So i had no choice but to leave her unconscious under the tree and get help.
As i walked in the classes just finished their second period and it was recess so everyone was scattering around and was so loud and so I screamed and everyone turned their attention to me.
