Good story

Wonderfully crafted lore
"This novel was charming. What stuck to me the most, was the lore of this book, all the differing spieces and their past: Nephilim, Seraph, Shadow wings, Angels, Shades etc. It was entertaining to learn about them, and how they intervene with one another. The ending with the Violet Flame's clan also built an interesting set up for the next part, the final fight scene was enjoyable too... Another thing I should mention, are the horror bits at the start of the novel - loved them. In my opinion, a purely subjective one, the main characters Arianna and Chris lacked personality, I could not see their weaknesses, habits or hobbies. They were like blank sheets. Further talking about characters the males, Zane, Will, Chris, did not have much of a separate voice, they all sounded the same, wanted the same, two of them showed interest in both medicine and arts. Another thing I disliked here was the redundancy in the narrative, as in repeating information through Arianna's thoughts. This way the majority of the novel was told and not shown. Also there was a moment where vital information was presented without being referenced and jumped out of nowhere. (Example - Arianna healing Will's wounds, then saying that she gained such ability way earlier, even though it was never mentioned until this point.) There were also missing words or letters, please recheck the use of anymore in the end of the book. I'm just stating my opinion, please don't take it personally. In the end, I have to say, I liked the plot, the lore and the backstories, probs to the author for creating such a mesmerizing world. Thank you for sharing this with us and I would gladly recommend this story to others."
