Chapter 1
I told her everything, just like they said.
And then I sat there trying to control my shaking,
And she asked me
‘what do you want me to do?’
What do I want?
my mind echo’s.
I want you make me whole again.
I want you to tear me apart until theres nothing left,
to strip me down to the cogs and wires and
Build me back up,
Build me back up,
into a machine that can work;
Something that doesn’t need to learn to breathe, because it does it automatically.
I want you to make me into something new,
That I can love without hurting.
I want you to fix me.
This is your job, I think.
‘I don't know,’ I tell her.
She says, 'i'll write you a prescription.'
And I look her, wishing she would take it back. She never does.
'okay.'
