"As the title says, this is a page turner. I'm not finished yet, but I've read 12 chapters in two days. The characters have distinct voices. Shawn is different and that is refreshing to read. The fact that it has literary quotes at the start of each chapter is chef's kiss. The way the scenes are presented and how the suspense builds up is very good. It feels as if one is in the room with the characters. Overal 5 put of 5. Loving it. "

"I absolutely love the authors story telling ability and the plot is amazing. The characters are very well put together, each having their own unique personalities, like the bad mouth main character lol She is awesome and I haven't finished it yet and I won't ruin the book for those who haven't read yet but the chemistry building up between a few of the characters is interestingly nice. I've never been one to root for characters hooking up but there's some in here I hope make it. This is definitely a book worth reading and an author worth keeping your eye on."

"I just happened across the app. Not being super interested in romance, I opted to start with this book. So far, I'm loving it. While there are some grammatical errors, the story and characters flow together so well that my mind easily goes past them, understanding what the author meant. The emotion of the characters can be felt, leaving one to laugh, tear up and brace with apprehension right along with them. If you enjoy being pulled in, this is a book that can do that for you. "

Ghostbusters, but much better
"The Dead Truth has a tight premise and works so well because the FMC, Shawn, doesn't believe in ghosts and paranormal nonsense, so it's easy to follow in her wake. She's a strong lead with a filthy mouth and a whole lot of baggage. She and Nick are well observed and the dialogue works really well. There's some powerful spooky moments, maybe even terrifying, and we really fear for the main characters a couple of times. the investigative team solve a mystery, so there's a story arc is resolved, but this story lays the groundwork for another, bigger mystery with a whole lot more threat. I recommend it."
