Prologue
"There's a world out there. Right outside my window. They won't let me out of here. Keeping me locked inside these four walls. Why?" She sighed in defeat, as her shoulders slumped and she sank to the ground. Another futile attempt, to get out.
Through the window, a pale light shone, enveloping her in its warmth. This was always the case. She wondered who and what, it was. She was grateful, for the warmth.
She lay on the floor, on her tummy, and rested her face in her palms, as she thought about, the last meal she had. She was starving. It had been days, since that meal.
"Wait until I get those, who wronged me. Just wait. The time is coming. Soon." She smiled, as tiny lights, danced in front of her eyes. She, could wait. They, would be sorry!
