Natasha’s P.OV:
“Where is it?” Steve asks
“Safe.”
“Do better!”
“Where did you get it?”
“Why would I tell you?”
“Fury gave it to you. Why?”
“What’s on it?”
“I don’t know.”
“Stop lying!”
“I only act like I know everything, Rogers. “ I said Should I tell him? No, not yet. “I know who killed Fury. Most of the intelligence community doesn’t believe he exists, the ones who do call him the Winter Soldier. He’s credited with over two dozen assassinations in the last fifty years.”
“So he’s a ghost story.”
”Maybe…”
Steve’s P.OV:
I had a feeling Natasha wasn’t telling me something. But if she wasn’t ready to say then I shouldn’t push her. But I couldn’t help but think what is so bad about the soldier that Natasha didn’t want to say?
Natasha’s P.O.V:
I know I should tell Rogers soon. But I don’t know how to break this to him. His best friend is an assassin just like me. Oh, James! Please tell me you remember me….
Unknown P.O.V:
“What’s the next target?” A man with a metal arm asked
”There’s a soldier, take him, prisoner. You’ll find a redhead, she’s dangerous. Kill her.”
