Chapter 1 - The Beginning

2006

Aisha and Japer have been friends forever. They first met when their mother was pregnant with them. The mothers met each other at a park while they were watching their little siblings play.

Since then the duo has been inseparable, always having playdates, being watched by their grandparents together, pretty much almost anything.

2015

The two are now nine and their bond is as strong as in the beginning.

Aisha and Jasper play tag at the park, while their mothers talked. “Come and catch me jasper!” Aisha yells. “Oh, I will!” Jasper shouts back. Jasper runs after Aisha as she keeps getting away. Aisha is giggling but then trips on a rock, falling to the ground and landing on her bottom.

“Ow,” She uttered, then started dusting herself off. “Aisha!” Jasper calls out her name as he runs towards her.

“Aisha are you ok!?” Jasper asks frantically, while also trying not to smile. Aisha giggles. “Yeah, I’m fine.”

“Good,” Jasper says with a breath, he holds out his hand. “Need help?”

Aisha blushes a bit before smiling and grabbing his hand. Jasper helps her get back on her feet. “Thanks, Jas,” She thanked him.

“No problem,”

Aisha looked around and spotted an ice cream truck. “Hey! Let's buy some ice cream, my mom gave me treat money!” She explains enthusiastically, Jasper nods. She grabs his hand and almost drags him excitedly to the ice cream truck.

After getting their ice cream, they sat on one of the slides. “Mm, what flavor did you get?” Aisha asks.

“Vanilla and chocolate. You?” Jasper asks back, showing her his ice cream. “Oh, I just got plain vanilla.” The two start laughing at her lame response.

They keep talking until their mothers call them. “Jasper, Aisha! Time to go home, say goodbye!”

“Oh, our moms are calling us,” Aisha informs.

“Aw, ok. See ya later A,” Jasper says and Aisha smiles. “See ya Jas!”

The two hug, making sure their ice creams don’t fall, and then run the opposite ways of each other to their mothers.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
