CHAPTER 1 Vonn?
Many years ago there was a tale about a man named De-Vonn, He had extraordinary abilities and some rumors came in that he was a God, others said he was a monster due to the way he looked and fought for different nations, he fought many wars for many kings and he never lost any, nobody understood the source of his strength and his long life, nobody had the mind to ask or go in search of the truth.
One day while he was serving under a new king. The king grew fonder of him and preferred him to his own son the prince, who grew jealous of the love and affection being shown to Vonn and he tried his best to tarnish him In front of the king but to no avail he was getting worried and sent people in search of answer of the power of vonn but he found nothing he was relentless and kept checking for years.
He was slowly losing his sanity cause he felt useless compared to vonn and his father made matters worse when he entrusted the kingdom to vonn while he was away on a business trip, the prince went quiet for some time when he realized that his cries were falling on deaf ears.
For months no one heard from the prince, vonn went on with his duties as a stand in king for the months while the king was away.
One faithful day, he decided to take a stroll around the market place and he came across an argument, he decided to take a look and he saw a young lady being embarrassed for stealing from her master’s place and her master stripped her half-naked.
No one came to her rescue but instead they laughed and ridiculed her, he quickly removed his coat and covered her and asked her what her name was she said “Elena” and he asked why she stole and she said she was very hungry, he asked his guards to pay off the Elena’s debt and he took her home and gave her food to eat and clothes to wear, he allowed her to stay at the guest room in the palace and she stayed for 2 days and she was not feeling comfortable in the palace and she made it known to vonn, so he took her to a place where she could be comfortable where some maids live and told her she could live there for as long as she wanted, Day in and out he would pay her a visit and spend time with her for months they continued.
They eventually grew fonder of each other and they fell in love with each other, finally it was the king’s arrival from his business trip the king was so happy to see the kingdom was thriving without him and immediately he was greeted by the prince who he paid no attention to he immediately called one of his guards and asked him to go get vonn and just like that the guards and the prince rushed out to look for vonn and when vonn was found sitting with Elena.
The prince was disgusted by the fact that he was with a commoner and shared his thought but the king didn’t see anything wrong with it, the king dismissed the topic and welcomed Elena as his own and removed the title of a slave from her and arranged for their marriage together, the prince had taken enough cause he has seen the immense love the king had for him and he left.
The king gave them a part of his kingdom as a wedding gift and they were happy, rumors started spreading that the king is about to name vonn the new king because the king called for a meeting vonn and the Chamberlain’s men to discuss about the kingdom so the news spread and it got to the ears of the prince he was furious he devised a plan to assassinate his father and he entered the palace the following week but to his surprise he found out the king was dead
He was extremely shocked and felt empty inside him he immediately tried to run out of the palace but he was seen by one of the palace guards that sounded the alarm and they closed the palace gates and he was faced with half of the kings soldiers all ready to attack him he had to defend himself all alone, he fought them all and escaped killing 10 and disarming 30.
He has always being a great warrior but his father never saw the good in him only his mom she loved him and respected him, she always made him feel wanted but one day she fell ill and soon after she lost her life the king fell Into deep turmoil and he transferred his anger and frustration to his son for years, the prince was devastated knowing now that he has lost the only remaining family he had and it was all his fault, cause he wasn’t there to protect him he went into hiding feeling forlorn, the kingdom was facing hardship and a new king had to emerge, so vonn was chosen to be the new king and Prince “Xeno” was tagged as a murderer and had a bounty on his head and he was wanted all over the regions of the kingdom.
Meanwhile in the kingdom was in havoc for months, there was hunger and theft in the kingdom and vonn tried his possible best to keep the country serene and tried to calm the storming havoc but it was uncontrollable. he started feeling sick and weak he heard some sounds coming from Elena’s room and decided to check it out he saw her with a witch doctor he didn’t understand what was going on he wanted to raise and alarm cause he alone at the time was too weak to do anything, before he knew it he found himself in his room he was locked in his room and wasn’t allowed to go outside. Days after news went out that Vonn was losing his mind due to the death of the king and preparations were already on its way to make Elena to the new king (Queen)
