"Fabulous! You rock on the stage, Vera. Carry on!"
"My pleasure, Nico."
“Nice! Anyway, that’s it for today.”
Vera sighed and took the bathrobe from her assistant, Jannel. It's been a long and exhausting day for her. She's always exhausted throughout the day. It's because she works as a model, she is completely absorbed in her work.
At the time, Vera just wanted to do was relax. She thought her body needed it because her schedule had been so jam-packed the previous week that she hadn't had time to even take a break. Add in the fact that she also a vocalist in Belle Chains, that's why she's got an extremely busy schedule.
"Fuck!"
“AHHHHH!"
“What’s going on?”
Two gunshots rang out once again throughout the area. As she was thrown back to where she was, she couldn't stop a small cry from escaping her mouth. Fortunately, she was near to her PA and was able to grab Jannel's arm, which was shocked next to her.
People in the area are also enlarging their eyes and peering out the window, as if an artist has passed by and they must see it immediately. The area was filled with yells and whispers, and Vera was frozen in dread and shock.
Vera, was taken aback from her reverie when some commotions happen outside. She was terrified and perplexed, unsure of what was going on. She was at a loss. Hell! If there's a gunshot, she won't be able to relax. She was really jittery at the time. Vera was taken aback for a moment as she looked at her PA, who could now see the terror in her eyes.
She could not help to calm it down because even her, was also afraid of what danger was looming over their fate. She just breathed a sigh of relief when she noticed a policemen coming to respond to them, because otherwise their lives might be in danger now.
"What the hell was that?" she uttered to herself.
Vera, couldn’t believe that something like that would happen in the area, because all she knew was that the surroundings were well-secured. The CCTV cameras are dispersed, yet they are unable to prevent unsettling incidents such as the commotion that occurred earlier.
"Are you all right, Miss?" a police officer asked,
She was completely unaware that it had arrived and was conversing with her. Her mind was still reeling from the shock of what had transpired earlier. Everything appears to be numb to her now, as if she is being pushed to return to her past, to the tragedy she is attempting to forget.
"I'm...fine," she answered, her own reaction a little reluctant.
"Don't be so worried. We have apprehended the mastermind of the affair," he remarked solemnly.
"Thank you," she shot back,
Because of what the police said, Vera, felt more at peace. She shifted her gaze uncomfortably to Jannel, who stood next her. Jannel was still quivering with terror when Vera urged her to sit on a nearby chair.
"Are you okay? I can take you to the hospital, and don't worry about what happened earlier, the cops stated they had already captured the criminal," she told her.
Vera even grabbed her Assistant's hand in hers and shook it one by one before smiling cynically.
"I'll be alright," Jannel assured.
Vera looked at the woman's face closely to determine if she was telling the truth.
Later on, she simply agreed and said she was heading home because she had a very long and exhausting day.
Vera walked out of the room when the two had finished talking. She couldn't forget what had happened while driving her car. She noticed that someone was surreptitiously following her every move last month, but she didn't pay attention because she was preoccupied with her job schedule. Could it have something to do with what had happened earlier? Those were the questions that had been bothering her in the back of her mind. Fear of inhabiting her chest caused the hairs on her body to stand up.
When she looked in the rearview mirror, all she saw was a dark automobile tailing her. Her heart trembled as she checked behind her to be sure she wasn't the one being pursued by that weird car. She jerked the steering wheel to the right, oblivious to a woman crossing the road.
She continued to turn her automobile, causing it to smash with a massive tree by accident. She even heard a truck honking multiple times.
The female model was in a state of numbness. Despite her blurry vision, she forced herself to scratch her brow, where she came into contact with the thick liquid running through it.
Blood. Her concern seemed to be heightened by the fact that she was covered in blood. She was knocked out for the second time in twenty seconds.

Only when I wake up do I experience numbness. When I tried to move, I was in excruciating pain. I felt like I'd been punched in the face. I slowly drew my eyes open. The dazzling light that shined on my face caused me to close my eyes once more. When I had accustomed to the light, I became aware of the devices linked to my body. I was taken aback and terrified. I couldn't help but be concerned about what had happened to the woman with whom I had nearly crashed.
I bent down and looked at the wounds I've inflicted. I was going to stand up when I was abruptly halted by a hand.
"Miss, don't move first," it says,
I raised my eyes to the approaching nurse. I didn't even notice she was there. It was carrying wound treatment, which I observed. She helped me sit up by removing the blanket that had been draped over me. I even complained about the agony caused by the nurse accidently touching my right arm's wound. I didn't care, though, and just tried to smile at her. I didn't want to be in the hospital any longer, and I needed to leave as quickly as possible.
"N-no, I... I'm ok," I said forcefully, despite the dryness in my throat.
I attempted to reposition my body so that I could walk outside and find out what had happened to the woman I was about to run over.
"How is that girl doing? D-do you have any news, Miss?" I asked her. However, the lady next to me doesn't seem to understand what I'm saying. "Ah, never mind," I said, as she nodded and walked away. I exhaled deeply.
