maggie’s point of view
rise and shine. today i’ll be transferring to my new school i’m hoping to blend in so i won’t be bothered answering questions. after i finished wearing my uniform i went down stairs and greeted my parents and brother “good morning darling”my mother peaked my cheek”good morning mother” i replied.“good morning father”i kissed the crown of his head”good morning sweetheart”my dad answered me .“are you excited to see your new school?“my brother matt said. As in matt being older he was already in college but he decided to stay at home rather than be living in the dorms because he quoted “i cannot live there. their dorms are too small and have an abominable smell. And my roommate is an alcoholic. I might wake up to see an animal instead of an actual human telling be the way he acts”
“i guess. i have gone into deep consideration and debation if i was gonna be bullied and called a nerd. Or be the bully and call people nerds”i said while fiddling with food as my father and mother stared at me with disbelief “i’m just joking” laughing nervously hoping for them to believe “you better be”he said with a stern voice. I looked up at the clock wall and it was 9:00 i stood up from the table “well i’ll excuse myself. It’s 9:00 am” then they said their goodbyes to me and i left. As the car passed by the weald view 5 minutes passed by and we arrived “thanks simon see you after school”i told the driver
greeted by the loud noise of students. i made my way to the principal’s office. softly knocking at the door i heard a light ‘come in’. i entered the office shyly looking down. not daring to look at the principal’s eyes “you must be maggie right?“he asked me slightly tilting his head “yes, indeed it’s me. i came here to take my schedule” i said quietly. “oh of course. if you have any issues or problems please do not hesitate to come to me” he said in a kind manner “yes i will thank you mr.harson” i quickly replied “your always welcome maggie”.
after leaving mr.harson’s office i went searching for my first class. 5 minutes passed and I FINALLY found it. a few seconds of panting I knocked on the classroom door and peeked from the door just to see the teacher signaling me to come in. ” everyone this is our new student. please introduce yourself” the teacher said “hi i’m maggie francis i’m 16 years old” i said quietly knowing the fact i couldn’t face 24 students ” welcome mrs.francis please take a seat beside...uhhhh clllay.... yeah clay please raise your hand clay” the teacher said with a stern voice.
i looked up to see the most charming guy in my life my eyes brightened and sparkled but i didn’t let it take over me. i sat down beside clay i kept peeking at him but not too much so he wouldn’t notice. but i picked up all the courage i had to talk to him. ” h-hi i-m maggi-e” i mentally slapped myself for stuttering “cool” he answered. OH MY SWEET HEAVENS his voice made me melt. as i opened my mouth the bell rang and he quickly got up and left. not going to lie i felt embarrassed walking alone but the thought of clay never left my head even when i tried to get him out of it it just didn’t work so i decided to go to the rooftop to get fresh air the view was breathtaking but still clay was still in my head.
i never felt so attached to anyone like this before.
“oh clay what are you doing to me”

school ended i was waiting for simon to come and pick me up. i saw clay holding a girl’s hand while walking towards a black car. ‘maybe it’s his sister’ i thought but they don’t look alike. cousins. no can’t be or can she be his g-girlfriend. NO impossible it can’t be never mind. 10 minutes passed by and simon came “hello simon” i greeted him “hello mrs.francis sorry for the delay something came up” he exclaimed “oh no its okay don’t worry about it” i answered him. he gave me a quick nod and started to drive.
looking out the window. my thoughts were all about that scene i saw after school and my head was filled with questions. is she really his girlfriend ? . maybe it was just a coincidence ? . have they hooked up yet ?. am i misunderstanding things ?. my thoughts and questions were all cut off by simon mrs.fancis we’re here” he said in soft tone “oh yeah thank you simon” i thanked him and rang the door and was greeted by one of the maids “your back young mrs i hope school wasn’t a trouble some for you” she said while helping take off my jacket and bag ” dinner will be ready as soon as you change your clothes” i nodded and headed up to my room. my parents were currently working so they came 2 hours after I came back home on the other hand matt comes at 9pm. i sat down on my window seat ‘i wonder what clay is thinking of right now’.
