Stood Up
I woke up, stretching in all kinds of absurd ways.
I stood up and went straight to the mirror...
“I hate myself. The way I look, my anxiety, depression, and body dysmorphia. If I could be someone else for just one day, I would.” I repeated while staring in the mirror for about 1 minute and 30 seconds.
I walked towards the bathroom door, to see a note on the bathroom counter.
The note said, “Hey honey! Your dad and I are out for a business trip, again. I know that we haven’t been there much, but ever since we got a job we have to put a lot of effort into work so we can pay off our debt, love you! xoxo, ur mom <3!”
“Wow, another business trip, ridiculous. I’m grateful that they are working just for me, though, but I don’t believe that they are on a business trip. My parents usually seem annoyed with me or disappointed in me, so they probably just made that excuse to get away from me. What can I blame them for? I’m obviously not the best child in the universe or the prettiest. I’m just an ugly loner.” I said, disapproving myself in every way possible.
After Shayla finished getting ready...
I walked towards the bright yellow bus, number 5648. I went inside and sat in the front seat. I couldn’t be bothered or seen by the people in the back, they bullied me from middle school throughout high school. I hate this world and everyone in it.
“Woah look! It’s Shayla the ugly witch!” Lala laughed, trying to sound quirky in front of the boys and trying to sound funny in front of the girls.
“Woah, don’t pull out the 9;” I said.
“It’s not a major holiday Lala, glad you noticed my existence. I wouldn’t mind a little fame from you and your minions for 6 hours of hell.” I continued.
That was my first time talking back to Lala. I was sick of her bullying. I’m tired of being shamed for every single thing I do, and only being noticed for the bad things that I may “contain”.
"Woah! Lala, you're just going to let her speak to you in that manner?" Jayden asked shockingly.
Jayden is Lala's crush, by the way, she's obsessed with him. I've documented inside my journal the way she looks at him, smiles at him, talks to him, and flirts with him. She's in love. Too bad he doesn't like her back!
"U-uh! Of course not. I uh... I was just waiting for a-" Lala soon got cut off by one of the other football athletes. Oh yeah, Jayden's an athlete.
"Yo! Lala's a scared cat man! She just let the school's biggest loser/nerd talk to her as if she's a maid! Yoooooo, bro just got burned!" Rowen yelled.
It felt good to talk back to Lala, considering she's the one who made it a kind of trend to bully me in this school. If she wasn't here, I would probably be left alone. What can I say though? Her dad is the one who enrolled me in this school. Lala and I used to be very close friends, and her Dad decided to enroll me in this expensive school because he knew that my parents wouldn't have the finances for it. They didn't, but I'm glad that at least someone thought I wanted to make an effort to actually become someone great and rich when I get older.
When the bus reached the school, I knew I was going to get in trouble. Not administration trouble, children trouble. When I got to my locker, I opened my lunchbox that I packed a lot of lunch in. I had no motivation to eat for the last 2 days, and I felt very hungry today. I finished the whole lunchbox, which tuna salad, pasta, strawberries, oranges, french fries, chicken nuggets, caprisun, water, and more were packed in.
"Look, it's the fat loser! Did you guys just see her stuff her face with that whole lunchbox? What a freak. I can't believe she tried to embarrass me on the bus again. She obviously doesn't have any home training." Lala exclaimed.
"Listen, Ms. Little Miss Perfect, don't play with me. I've let you bully me long enough, and I'm not going to sit here and be awfully disrespected by someone who is just miserable for another day! I'm tired of being pushed around by you and your hideous minions. I'm tired of you making me carry all your stuff, just because I may be awfully overweight in your eyes does not mean that I can carry so much stuff. I hate you, and I wish your dad didn't enroll me in this school. Give your Dad a call and cry, I don't care at least he won't be enrolling me in this school anymore." I said before I slapped her.
