kaleidoscope
On a sunny bright day, Amulya, vibrant girl in red frock with glitters comes running to her dad with a progress report in her hand. Dad looks at her, amazing girl, topper in class but as a single parent with two kids he is always exhausted to provide things for them and assigned school activity is a bit too much to handle for a single parent.
He is a workaholic person who believes in work is worship, a poor man, simple and honest person, in whatever he has, he used to help others and alas that he can’t afford to buy a kaleidoscope, so he decides to make one for his dad’s girl!
Dad calls Amulya, and asks her to break some colored glass pieces she is just agape at that weird thought and then though don’t like it but with tears rolling down her eyes she makes colored broken glass pieces keeps it in front of her dad. Then he shows her how to make a kaleidoscope with a broken colored glass. While making the kaleidoscope, he explains her that no matter what, we have to put the broken pieces of glass in place without hurting our fingers and close the two triangular edges and see through the glass you can make amazing forms even with a broken glass when it is broken for a specific purpose and the essence of life is also that no matter God may put you in the turbulent broken glass kind of situations but if you are a person with unshakable values and ethics you can make wonders in dam any situation.
In covid times, it’s very relevant that we have to accept our situation and rebuild many amazing things in life for a better tomorrow just like a kaleidoscope!
