UnVeil: An Anthology of Poems

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

They have been portrayed in a single light for so long; have we never thought of seeing these Gods and Goddesses and primordial beings in a different light? Are all of them what they really seem to be? Can Medusa be a victim and not just villain? What if Persephone was't kidnapped? Unveil yourself the other side of some of these people; they deserve to tell their story. Their stories deserve an UnVeiling.

Author's Note

The title “UnVeil” was selected because I am leaving the interpretation of the poems and characters open to the readers, thus allowing them to unveil the character from a different perspective other than the one always portrayed.

Some of them are written from a third perspective and some from the first person, therefore it was imperative of me to write while being in their shoes. These people, even though mythical, I feel deserve to be seen from a different light and I hope you enjoy reading them.
