"It may be pretty intense erotica, but unlike almost all specimens of this genre this one has as vast a format as any major entertainment franchise, its two worlds, one in the past and one more fictional, both entirely plausible and carefully crafted. The plot so far has uncommonly solid structure, and the author makes good on his promise of providing an emotional stake with the characters. With all the debacles and dull remakes that come out of Hollywood lately, why wouldn't someone want to turn this into a film."
