Garnet: Steven!

Steven looked at Garnet

Garnet: You need to get out of the house.

Garnet: No buts! You been in your room for too long, you need to go out, get some fresh air.

Steven looked away in disappointment

Garnet: I know you're in a lot of pain but staying here and rotting your life away will only cause you to have Connie on your mind even longer.

Steven: Sigh I know but... it's not so easy just going back out there. It's easy for you because Sapphire and Ruby been together for since I wasn't even formed.

Garnet: That is true but do you really think laying in bed and moping would help you move on, because it won't.

Steven: I... I guess I can go back out there and try.

Garnet: That's great.

Amethyst: Yeah man but before you do that, get some food and get in the shower.

Garnet: Agreed.

Garnet & Amethyst standing on the porch outside looking off into the sea as the wind blowing through their hair

Amethyst: Is pearl still hanging with that human version of Rose?

Garnet: Yeah.

Amethyst: That's kind of weird that she does look like rose but just let... her y'know?

Garnet: Well humans do have their reasons to make themselves look like that. And here he comes.

The front door opened up, Amethyst and Pearl looked back seeing Steven fully well dressed

Amethyst: Whoa, Stev-man looking like a new man.

Garnet: It's good to see you back outside again.

Steven: Will agree with you on that, nice breeze as well.

Garnet: So what's your first big move?

Steven: I don't know. Who knows, I might make some new gem friends.

Amethyst: Who knows, you might find a new girlfriend.

Steven: Heh, wouldn't that be nice. Well, I'm off guys, also where's pearl?

Amethyst: Hanging with her pink haired lady friend.

Steven: I see, well tell her that I'll be out for a bit.

Steven hugged Amethyst and Garnet

Steven hopped off of the stairway, on to the sand. He stood up, brushing himself off, he walked to the door and opened it

Steven: Hmm, guess it has been a while since I got into the car.

Steven got into the car and started up

Steven: Feel nice to hear that engine run.

Steven put on his seat belt, he looked out the window and gave the pair a wave, the pair waved back at him as he drove off

Amethyst: It's nice seeing Steven happy again.

Garnet: Yep...huh?

Amethyst: What's up? We got trouble?

Garnet: No... Heh, I just seen into the future a bit evolving with Steven

Amethyst: Oh yeah? What's gonna happen?

Garnet: I won't reveal too much but... I see him having a special friend in his life.

Steven: It only been a week and a half since I left the house but it feels like a month. Maybe I should call Con- oh... right... Sigh Pearl is gone, Peridot, Bismuth, and lapis is at homeworld. I don't really have much friends out of the gems, Peedee is at school, Ronaldo is still doing his own blog thing, lars is up in space. Really hard to make friends with people my age- WHOA!

Steven yelled as he stepped hard on the breaks, suddenly a girl flipped over his car, landing on her knee badly

Girl: A-ah crap that hurts!

Steven got out the car

Steven: Oh goodness are you okay!

The girl stood up, holding onto her skateboard

Girl: D-don't worry, I'm fine. Hmm? Wait, aren't you that magical boy?

Steven: Y-yes, my name is Steven.

Girl: What's with the red face? Ya sick?
