THE STRONGEST ALPHA

I have been waiting for 3 hours its almost midnight meaning the rest of the pack should be asleep by now. I finished packing 10 minutes ago and Mia should be waiting at our secret spot so we can leave this god forsaken place I used to call home.

As soon as I reached the cave Mia dropped the bag and ran to me.

Stella, you came I was starting to get worried Mia said.

Of course I came this was my idea I reply

Well Ya but you are also the Alphas oldest child so you are supposed to take his place when he retires she states flatly

But he's a sexist bitch of a man who wants to make my stupid brother Alpha and I quote "Because he's a man and your a girl and I cannot have a girl takeover my pack or we will become weak" I say

I have always been strong and I didn't know the guy so why should I morn a stranger? I ask nonchalantly

Well losing a mate is the hardest thing for your wolf. Mia says

Can we not talk about this because if you cry I cry and the entire pack will wake up to us snuggled in the corner of a cave bawling our eyes out. I say jokingly

Let's get going before the Alpha notices your missing. she says amused at my comment from before

Did you bring enough clothes? I ask looking over at the small backpack behind her

Yep right here. she says as she pulls out a big stack of money

Ok dumb ass I say chuckling

Hey why am I a dumb ass? she says with mock hurt

I step to the side revealing 4 large bags.

This one is for food, this one is for clothes, and these two are full of money $5,000,000 to be exact! I say enthusiastically

how the hell do you expect to carry that in wolf form? she asks tauntingly

I tested it at home and I was fine that's what this is for. I say holding up a large contraption with hooks on the sides

What is that thing? she says astonished

I don't know what it's called but it works so can we leave now? I ask annoyed as I quickly strip and place my clothes in one of the bags that is now on the weird contraption as I shift into my huge wolf with shadow like fur and crawl under the contraption that turns out harder than I thought do to the fact that I have wing and standing up strait and walking away with Mia fallowing after me. After we crossed the border we sifted for a second to pronounce ourselves rouge and shifting back so we could run to the human territory.

Why couldn't we stay? We had a family in the Bloodmoon pack! my wolf Eve said in my head

Because no one cares about us here and as far as I'm concerned they aren't my family. I answer her

When we get to the tree line near the human city called New York we walked behind trees and shifted back picking up our bags and leaving the metal contraption behind we walked through the dark streets in silence when I smelled blood. Looking over at Mia I can tell she smells it too when she looks over I give her a small nod and we run fallowing the scent to an alleyway. When we reach the end we see small she-wolf backed against the wall and 4 hunters cornering her so she cant escape. The she-wolf looks to be around 10 years old and she is barring her teeth at the hunters letting out a low growl causing the hunters to let out a deep chuckle. That was the last straw I dropped my bags pulling out 2 knives from my boots and run over tackling one of the hunters and holding a knife to his throat. Looking up at the other 3 I let out a power filled growl.

Let the girl go and I spare you. I say menacingly

ha like you could actually hurt us. one of the hunters says chuckling

Don't say I didn't worn you. I say

Cover your eyes. I tell the girl

The she-wolf nods and closes her eyes. Turning back to the hunters I slash the first ones throat, stab 2 of them in the heart, and strangle the last one.

What's your name? I ask the pup as she opens her eyes

Ava. she says weakly

Ok Ava where's your parents? I ask

When she points to a pair of bodies I didn't see before I gasp at the sight.

Do you want to stay with us Ava? I ask her

She looks at me with pleading eyes and I take that as a yes.

MIA COME HERE! I yell in the direction I came from.

Sheesh you didn't have to yell I could hear you when you were talking normally asshole. she says as she walks over with all the bags in her hands

Give me my clothes bag Ava's clothes are ruined. I say sweetly

I wipe away the tear with a smile on my face as I turn back to Ava handing her a large t-shirt and a belt to make it look like a dress. when she looks at me questioningly I let out a quiet sigh.
