Trip

We were going on a trip to the mountains for the winter break, there were 5 friends and me, so we all got in the cars and went to the mountains. When we got to the spot we were going to stay, there were 6 of us there, we got ready to set up our tents. We all could not fit into one tent, that would be way too crowded.

The next day we decided that we were going to go on a hike through the woods. Half way up there were a bunch of fallen trees that had big scratches on the side, I saw these huge scratches and I had a bad feeling about what we were going into. There was a big tree that was still standing, but it was completely sliced in half, this really gave me the chills. It might have given all of my buddies the chills too, but I did not dare say anything because I did not want to act scared. I wanted to run the other direction but I also did not want to go on my own, I was too scared to move an inch so I kept on walking with the rest of the group. After about an hour we reached a cliff. I wondered if we could climb it but then I saw a big hole in the side of this cliff.
