Chapter 1
I stand at the edge of the outer tarmac door staring at the plane I am about to get on and trying my hardest not to freak out. It's easier said then done.
"So, bella." The man my uncle Ben sent to pick me up looks down at me with a patient smile. Phil, I think that's his name was, but I can't be sure. It's hard to hear him over the crazy beating of my heart. "Are you ready for some fun?"
Nope, nada, I am most definitely not ready. If you had told me a month ago that I would be standing the outskirts of Fairbanks airport in Alaska I would have told you, you were crazy.
