"When I was young I never needed anyone... she stopped singing suddenly when someone bumbed into her from behind. "Hi there I'm so sorry for bumping into You like that, it's just that I lost control of my dog and he ran right into You," The guy said smoothly. Siobhan took her time cataloguing his appearance into her memory bank. "No it's fine, especially since it's this little guy he's adorable. A German shepard I presume?"
"Yeah. His name's Alistair. Star for short."
"Well hello there Star? Such a cute doggy You are," She said and got down on one knee to pet the oreo coloured dog. "You know the colours of his far remind me of oreos. Black and white...
"I know right? I almost named him that, for that reason but thought better of it later on. It wouldn't do him justice being the Alpha dog that he is, wouldn't it boy?" The dog barked it's approval while wagging it's tail cheerfully. " Wow that's a resounding yes if I do say so myself. My name's Siobhan by the way, friends call me Sio for short ," She extended her hand out to him. "Pleasure. I'm Connolly. Friends call me Con or Connor for short." He said taking her hand in his but instead of a handshake he kissed the back of her hand politely. Sparks ran through her entire arm and shivers too. She quickly covered it up by saying. "Well it was nice meeting You both but my time at the beach has come to an end. It's getting a bit chilly for me.. it was nice meeting You Connolly and star... "Yeah You too, do You live around here? Connor asked reluctant to let her go.
"Yes. And no. I live in Bombolulu and this is Bamburi beach so yeah close but not quite. "
"Oh really? Well quite the coincidence this is, because I just happen to live in Nyali." Conner said. "Whoa... talk about coincidences this is really wild.. so how long have You been in Kenya? And have You only lived in the Coast of Mombasa? Or have You toured other parts of the Country?" Siobhan asked curiously as they unconsciously begun to walk along the beach. "I have a residency here. So yes I've around Kenya. I fell in love with this Country when I first came here with my parents on vacation. That was some ten Years ago. I had just finished High-school and instead of heading to college I took a year off to figure out what I wanted to study in College so my parents came up with a vacation idea and thus my relationship with Kenya begun."
"Wow, You have great parents. They gave You a vacation to figure yourself out. That's rare for most African parents. So did You figure it out?"
"Yes, I did.. I Am a Pilot."
"Ah yes. I see how that's a convenient occupation," She smiled at him and he had to stare at how beautiful her smile was. Her ebony skin just seemed to glow as the sun set around them, giving her smile more radiance her hair blowing every which way due to the sea breez smelling a hint of coconut whenever the wind blew her curly mane.
