In her tribe women are strong and work hand and hand with the men who are brutal but beautiful and all caring to their mates and family. Being a True Queen is rare and to have one as a wife nearly guaranteed a strong kingdom. Every King and man wanted her for her strength and beautiful voice but they are not who she wanted, she wanted her mate, the one man that God created for her and not some power hungry, arrogant King or man that just wanted what was rightfully her husband/mate’s. Kyon is the strongest And most accomplished King in the East water kingdom. Every woman wanted him even other queens tried to get into his bed just for his title and a chance to rule the best kingdom. But he wasn’t looking for just any woman, he was looking for his true mate, the one woman who God created for him but he started to get discouraged with every woman he met because God hadn’t said, “she’s your wife” to him yet and he had traveled nearly every tribe but the Western tribe, and as he gears up to travel he feels something stir in his spirit the closer he gets until he reaches the gates and his heart nearly stops at the sight of stern but ice blue eyes of the woman who greets him. “She is your wife” “He is your husband”

Queen chapter 1

The door to my office opened and I looked up to see my second in command Nia walk in. She stood in front of my desk with a irritated look and her arms crossed in front of her chest, she stood there just looking at me and not saying anything, just staring with the same look. Starting to lose patience I finally spoke.

“Ok as much as I know you love my company babes I’m pretty sure if you don’t say anything in the next five seconds imma hit you with this warm pillow that I’ve been sitting on for hours” I huffed. I mean you didn’t just walk into my office without having SOMETHING to say right? I kept complaining in my head until I heard her take a deep breathe and roll her eyes so badly even I could see her thoughts.

“His ‘almighty arrogance’ is back and refuses to leave until you have an audience with him, just say the word and declare war because at this point I’d rather fight his whole army than be stuck standing and listening to him speak about how outraged he is because you denied his marriage proposal.”

“Outraged? What, he can’t read? Denied means just that, DENIED, rejected, no means no? Does he not get that?” Rising from my seat I slammed my fist into the desk, splitting it in half and sending both sides flying sideways across the room.

“It’s not just because you denied it, he says your either blind or stupid to say no to HIS proposal. You know, because he is the king of the west kingdom and has money, status, and everything and anything a woman wants” she again rolled her eyes And smirked because she knew I was gonna snap once I went to see him. I started to see red and took a couple of deep breaths to calm down. I wasn’t born to be like other women, I was born to be a True Queen and I worked day in and day out since the day I was born to fulfill what God has in store for me and my purpose, and no man child with an ego and a kingdom is going to get me out of character. I sent a prayer to God to give me strength to deal with this because He and I both know what type of a man is in my throne room right now. One thing for sure is he is about to get a rude awakening. I Grabbed my cloak that my mother made me on the day of my Coronation and let the smooth silk and embroidered fabric slide across my shoulders and tied it in the front. It was a deep royal blue cloak that my mother embroidered with our family crest on the left of the breast and our kingdom crest on the right. The lining was embroidered with golden trim and sapphire gemstones lining it and weighed about 10 pounds, not that I even registered the weight, I could easily lift 900 pounds with the kind of training I went through. I wore it with pride because my mother was also a True Queen but she had to stay hidden because my father began to get ill for a time and in his weakness other men tried to kidnap my mother and force her to marry a more fitting man. But by that time my mother was pregnant with my younger brother Arron and she wasn’t able to fight back even though she tried. We found out that it was my father’s advisor Kon who lusted after my mother and seen her leadership, along side my father, and he started to slip poison in my fathers tea to weaken him so that he could get to my mother. I walked in on my mother in a bloody state welding two ice daggers that she formed and and a smirking half naked Kon with half of my mother’s dress in his hands. I was only 10 at the time so I formed two swords in my hands ready to fight but while welding them my hands shook as the fear of seeing my mother mildly swollen with my baby brother dead crossed my thoughts if I was even a second late. My mother’s eyes slowly turned to me with fear but then with determination as she was now faced with defending both her children.

“Dear child what are you going to do? Your just a young princess just barely trained. I’m not a king yet but your mothers needs a real man to lead her, so just everyone calm down and just accept it. I want you Mira, I have the second I seen that blessing on you and that man you call a husband isn’t even worthy to have you, so, beautiful, either you come to me willingly or I kill your daughter. Besides, you’ll be having my kids soon and that will secure my leadership”

“Your an even bigger fool than I thought! What have you done to my husband?! He was fine until you gave him a new tea I tried it too and no harm came to me but I should have known. It was u wasn’t it?!? You poisoned him?!? He loves you like a brother! How dare you!!” She shouted, her aqua blue eyes blazing with anger and glossy with tears, mirroring my own as my grip on my blades tightened.

“HE HAD YOU! THATS WHY! Why did God have to give YOU to him??!?! I was better in every way but still I’m only a second?! I knew you first! I met you first and I introduced you! All it took was for you to meet him once and I found out you both were fated?! NO, you were to be mine!! And THIS time I was get what I want!”

He lunged towards my mother and grabbed both of her daggers and I just stood there frozen. How could he do this? I called this man my uncle! I closed my eyes and prayed for strength and all of a sudden my hands stopped shaking and my eyes flew open to see my mother on the ground, and Kon stalking towards me, I ducked and slid to my knees to dodge his sword. He changed direction of the blade and the hilt cracked the back of my head and blood trickled down my neck but I wasn’t fazed. I held strong and bent backwards till my head hit the floor behind me. I looked him in the eyes as his smirk disappeared once he met mines and I smiled.

“I am a princess for now, but I was born to be a True Queen” and I raised and crossed my swords beneath me and brought them up to his head and uncrossed them slicing his neck clean off.
