The amount of pain she was feeling was unbearable. She felt something hot and warm trickling down her jaw despite the rain pouring heavily. Her eyes were red and swollen. Her family betrayed her trust and broke her heart completely. They kicked her out of the house and rendered her homeless. She had no where to go.
Her eyes were blurry because of the tears. As she was about to cross the road, a car suddenly hit her. She flew up and fell back down to the ground. She lost consciousness.

Aurora opened her eyes with much effort. She tried to move but hissed in pain instead. Her entire body hurt like hell. She scanned the room with her dark blue eyes and saw monitor beeping and a lot of machines connected to her body.
'Am I in a hospital?' she thought to herself.
The door opened and a middle-aged man wearing a white coat and a stethoscope around his neck walked in. He walked over to Aurora. He saw Aurora was finally awake. "Oh good, you are awake. How do you feel?" He asked with a smile.
Aurora tried to speak but only a squeak could be heard. Her eyebrows knotted with confusion. "Don't worry,you were in an accident and just woke up. You'll be fine after you drink some water". He explained calmly. He stood up to get a glass of water. He helped her drink the water.
"Do you feel any better?" He asked.
"Yes". Her throat was a little moist because of the water she just drank, but it was still low and hoarse.
"Who brought me here?" She asked the doctor.
"An old man." He answered. He reached for something in his pocket. He brought out a card and said to her " He couldn't stay, so he asked me to give you this when you wake up."
"Thank you". She told the doctor sincerely. The doctor dropped it beside her.
He ran a routine check and when he saw she was okay, he left the room for her to rest.
Fortunately, the accident wasn't a major one, so after a week she was discharged. Aurora had 50,000 with her. Some of the money was the money left behind by her late grandmother and the rest were her personal savings. Her next plan was simple;Leave the city, get a job and find an apartment. She didn't want to stay here anymore, not after all the pain she suffered.
She changed into a black joggers, white top and blue sneakers. She kept the money in her bag and left the hospital.
On her way to the bus station,she felt something was off. It looked like someone was following her. She turned back and saw no one. That was strange. She tried to shake off the feeling but she couldn't. Her pace quickened a little.
Since,she her never left home before,she had no idea where she was going. So the last turn she made,led to a dead. "A dead end?" She said a little frustrated. She turned around to leave,but she saw 4 burly men surrounding her. They all had vicious looks on their faces. They didn't look nice. Aurora was naive but not a fool. "Who are you?" She asked.
"Who we are is not important". The man in the middle,who looked like their leader uttered with an evil smile on his face,the kind that sends shivers down one spine. He brought out a pocket knife and moved closer to her.
"Boss let's not kill her. She looks cute. We can play with her!" One of them suggested and looked her Aurora with lust. The men laughed. However, Aurora's round face cute face was eerily calm and the men were stunned. How could she not be afraid?
Aurora was deeply afraid but she couldn't show it on her face. Besides she had been through much worse situations than this. Thus she has a plan.
When the man moved closer,Aurora took off her bag and threw it at him with a great force. The man was surprised because he didn't expect it so he fell backwards. "You fool! You'll pay for this!" Another man shouted angrily. He launched forward to attack her but she smartly avoided the attack and the man ended up hitting his head on the wall. When the men were distracted,she ran as fast as her feet could take her. She kept running but stopped to gasp for air.
"She's just a girl,she couldn't have gone far. Find her!" She heard one of the goons voice not too far away. She searched around to look for somewhere to hide until she found a black Maybach car. Without a second thought,she entered it. Finally she is was safe!
"Get out". Just as she thought she was safe, she heard a cold voice say. She turned to thr direction of the voice and her heart skipped a beat. The man was wearing a black suit and was good looking. He had beautiful grey eyes. His eyelashes were long and could make any girl jealous. His nose and eyebrows were perfectly shaped and his pink lips were in a straight line. His black shiny hair contrasted with his fair white skin. He was like a Greek god. Although he was extremely good-looking,the most attractive part about him was his beautiful grey orbs. When you look at them it felt like you were drowning. He had an air of dominance and seemed unapproachable.
The man turned to see a cute girl gaping at him. He was amused. Her hair was very unkempt and she was sweating. Her white face a little red because she had been running. Her dark blue eyes were shining like the stars. Aurora couldn't take her eyes of him at all. He was simply too handsome. The way he sat made him look more elegant.
"I told you to get out". He repeated with the same amount of coldness.
