Chapter 1
It was any normal day at school, the jocks picking on the nerds, the popular girls making fun of someone’s outfit. Everything was pretty normal, besides the fact that we had the annual school field trip. I am in Mr. Smith’s class, and every year the seniors go on a camping trip out in the woods. Oh I forgot to introduce myself, hi I’m Lizzie. I’m 16, and consider myself an artist. I have red hair, hazel green eyes, a tongue piercing, and a rose necklace. I may be Mexican, but I can’t speak Spanish. I’m in the same class as my 3 best friends.
Philip is my childhood friend, I’ve known him since the 1st grade. He has black hair, green eyes, an eyebrow piercing, and a nose ring. His skateboard skills are awesome, and he’s a bit on the darker side. But damn is he cool, funny, and charming. Next up is, Syleste the star on the court. Sy has dark hazel eyes, brown hair, perfect native American skin. She has the brains, brawn, and confidence to win, but then again she is the captain of the basketball team. And lastly our personal music box, Jax. Jax can shred on the bass, drums, guitar, you name it! Jax is cunning, determined, and has the most energy ever. He has light skin, brown hair, brown eyes, a lip piercing, and a couple ear piercings.
Everyone always calls us the Freaks, so we call ourselves that too. We took the title “freaks” to another level, a better level. No one ever bosses us around, we think they’re scared of us. Anyways, we are about to go talk to our fellow freaks.
