Meet and Greet

Today was the day. I was going to meet Noah Beck! In person! Like, I’m going to actually be able to talk to him, not just pretend I am through his Tiktoks.

I had been waiting in line for what felt like forever. I never knew there were so many people who liked him too.

“How long have we been here?” I asked my friend, Chloe.

“Y/n, it’s been twenty minutes,” she replied. “It hasn’t changed from the last time you asked. Like, thirty seconds ago.”

She didn’t really want to be here. I asked her to be my plus one so she could support me in case I had a panic attack or something.

“Like you wouldn’t be doing the same thing if One Direction were to come here.”

“Alright, next!” the security guard called from outside.

That was us. I could hardly breathe, and my heart was basically beating out of my chest. For a second I thought I was dead.

“Okay, I know you don’t like him,” I told Chloe, “but can you at least pretend you do? For me? Please?”

She rolled her eyes and agreed. We walked inside and there he was. Right in front of me. He looked exactly like in the videos, but even cuter, hotter.

“Hi there!” he said. “What’s your name?”

I was trying to say something, but nothing was coming out of my mouth. Of course, the time when I needed to speak the most, I couldn’t. This was also partly the reason why I brought Chloe along with me.

“Hi, I’m Chloe!” she said. “And this is my friend y/n! We’re huge fans!”

For someone who didn’t wanna be there, she was a really good actor. He seemed convinced.

“Well, I’m Noah,” he said. “It’s nice to meet you two! Are you okay there, sweetie?”

I fell to the floor, nearly crying. He was talking to me! He called me sweetie! I couldn’t handle it anymore. It was too real to be actually happening to me.

“She’s really excited to see you,” Chloe said to him. Thank god she was there to help out.

“I can tell! Come on, hon, let me help you get up.”

He held his hand out and pulled me up from the ground (I held his hand. I held his hand!).

“Calm down now,” he said, holding onto me. “What’s your name?“

I was still so overwhelmed I could hardly say anything.

“y-y-y/n,” I managed to tell him before bursting into tears. I was making a fool of myself in front of my crush, but I couldn’t help it! I’ve been waiting for this day for years.

I calmed down after a while (not before crying a river in front of Noah), and then we started talking.

“You seem really nice,” he told me. “And you’re really pretty.”

“No I’m not,” I replied to him.

“What do you mean? You’re also kinda cute in my opinion.”

I smiled at him. I still wasn’t over the fact I was with my celebrity crush, but he was super sweet.

“Sir, the next people have been waiting a while, I think it’s time for these ladies to leave,” the security guard said.

“Oh, well, I’m sorry to see you go,” Noah then said. “Why don’t we exchange numbers so we can continue this another time?”

I agreed and we got our numbers. Once we left, I exploded into tears again.

“OH MY GOD THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED!” I screamed. Lots of people were looking at me, very concerned.

That was the first time I met my boyfriend.
