That's a lie
You can stay there
Stagnant
Stay there and wallow in yourself
Stay there and cry
Stay there in comfortable
Why would you leave
You've lost it all
And now all that remains
Is the fallen dried up fruit of your labour
All that surrounds you
Is the rotting stench of what once symbolized hope
A former embodiment of your life
Society says to replant
so your tree can grow again
But would you grow
Planting the exact same tree over again
Trying to gain all that was lost
Why not use the seeds to build a throne where you can rest your feet
Why not use the remnants of fruit to make wine
Why should you start it all over

Or just losing societal essentials
Losing your brand
Losing your name
Losing what society needs to judge you
But have you really lost
Losing yourself is only true if you forget
