A/N's POV
It was pouring heavily outside.A single creature could be barely seen on the streets.Every part of nature was drenched in the heavy shower.
On the unknown streets of Itaewon,the crime town a shadow was seen walking with long steps.The shadow stopped near an old abandoned house.The shadow couldn't be identified as a male or a female. But later on the hooded shadow removed the hoodie revealing a girl with short hair and a mask on.She ruffled her hair and looked around.After a while another shadow joined her and a short conversation in a low voice could be heard.
Iseul: Congratulations mistress,you are finally out of prison after 1 year.
Y/N:So who's the new target?
Iseul handed her a family picture.Y/N examined it thoroughly.
Iseul:Kim family,most powerful and rich family in this city.The elder son,Kim Seokjin looks after his father's business.Caring, responsible, disciplined.A true gentleman.The younger son,Kim Taehyung owns his own company which has a huge partnership with his brother's company.But...
Y/N glanced at Iseul with furrowed eyebrows.
Iseul:He is mostly known for his habits of partying and being with multiple ladies.It is said that there is no woman left in this city who hasn't slept with Kim Taehyung.
Y/N:*in low but prominent voice*An absolute fuckboy!
Iseul:Totally,Mistress.
Y/N: Please continue.
Iseul:So,we have this spoiled brat's brother as our next target.
Y/N:You mean Kim Seokjin?
Iseul nodded.
Y/N:And do you know who gave me this contract?
Iseul: Taehyung's mother.
Y/N looked at Iseul with questioning eyes.
Y/N:His own mother?
Iseul:No Mistress.Actually Mr.Kim's first wife and Seokjin's mother died while giving birth to him.After that to look after his son,Mr.Kim married another woman and they both had Taehyung.Though these two are step brothers,they love each other like real siblings.But Mrs.Kim, Taehyung's mother,she wants her own son to get the Kim company which is now owned by Seokjin.So she wants you to kill him so that Taehyung can become the owner of Kim company along with V Enterprise.
Y/N:And what did she pay for it?
Iseul:She said the payment is upto you.
A smirk grew on Y/N's lips.
Y/N:I want her son to marry me so that I can be the co-owner of both companies.
Iseul:But Mistress,why do you...
Y/N:O come on Iseul.Do you know how many trials are still going on me?I can get a life sentence too.So only the most powerful businessmen in this city can save me from all these hazards.
Iseul:So you want to use him as a shield?
Y/N's smirk grew longer.
Y/N:A shield that will be protecting me and giving me money at the same time.
Iseul:But you know he is not a guy who is good with ladies.
Y/N:I know but who cares.I won't fall in love with him or something.So who cares if he fucks a different slut every night.Just tell her about my payment.
Iseul:You think she will agree to this?
Y/N:She knows only I can do this.So she will do anything to make her step son dead.
Iseul:Ok then.I'll talk to her and try to fix a meeting with her.Good night,Mistress.
Y/N nodded and started walking towards her house.She was all drenched in rain.By the time she reached home it was past midnight.Only the roar of the clouds and the sound of heavy shower could be heard outside.
Her house was basically a room with a broken bed and some furnitures like a mirror and some shelves for clothes.Everything was covered in the layers of mud and dust as the room was opened after a whole year.
She removed her hoodie and pants,took a bath and wore an old tee and trousers.She cooked the last packet of ramen for herself.She ate the hot ramen quickly and lied on the bed.
She took out a photo from a nearby shelf and started looking at it closely.It was a picture of a guy smiling.
Y/N:I wish you were here.I miss you so much.How could you leave me alone like this?
Her eyes got teary and her voice cracked as if she was trying too hard not to cry.
Y/N:If you were here out life would have been so different.
Tears rolled down her eyes.But she quickly wipped them off.
Y/N:But don't you worry,I will find your killer no matter what.I would give you justice.I promise.
She fell asleep while hugging the picture.
