The bombshell
Hi,my name is Nova McCready and this is my story. I am 14 years old this year and I'm in middle school.
I woke up one morning and dressed up in a black top and jean shorts,putting on my home slippers,i went downstairs into the kitchen, i greeted my parents, sat at the bar and started munching on a biscuit, that was when they dropped the bombshell on me. I wasn't that shocked though, i mean i kinda knew i was going to change schools after what i did which we'll get to later. P.S i wasn't even wrong in the matter but they misunderstood me.
My name means goddess of moonlight ✨️ and i love sunshine 🌞!!! My life is so full of ironies. I am a mixed race and right now my parents are telling me I'm going to be attending a school of all whites,like what the hell. I went ahead to pack for school but as i started towards the stairs i was told i was gonna be a weekly boarder, i paused then continued going up because if i had stopped i would have been rude and blamed them.
As i pack,let me give you a quick description of myself
*I am of average height (neither overly tall nor too short)
*I have brown cat-like eyes
*Auburn brown wavy hair
*light brown skin (sometimes tanned)
*I wear glasses at times
*I'm a savage (got me into trouble quite a lot)
*I love flowers
*My favorite color is soldier green and black
*I hate all animals except puppies and i own one named buttercup
The rest you'll gradually figure it out. After i had finished packing,I had a quick lunch of peppered extra spicy fried chicken with some celery.
I told my mum I'd be going to my friend's house next door, i put on my shoes and left cause i needed my space. I got to my friend Aubrey's house(she's your typical blonde, fair and blue eyed girl) and we clicked instantly when they moved here a year ago,we've been friends ever since. When i got in, I realized her parents were not home. We went into her room with crackers,marshmallows and chocolate. I told her everything and she said she was gonna miss me but she did not cry too much cause i was going to come back on weekends.
I went back later that evening after we chatted for a while. My parents Emily and James McCready weren't home when i came back but thankfully i brought my keys with me. I went to my room,took a much needed shower and changed into my nightwear which was a black short sleeve button down silk shirt and matching shorts. I laid down on my bed and chatted with an online friend i met over snapchat. We've been talking for a while now. His name is Jose. He lives in Texas while i live in New York.
