THE WISH: A Short Story.
Sitting out here all by myself, cold, shivering, wondering why I am not inside my house, why I've got furs all over me yet still shivering.
I can see my mum making her way to the front porch, taking out the trash, she's wiping her eyes with a white towel.
Mum,why are you crying, I ask. But all I can hear is the "wruff wruff" of a puppy.
What's with the barking and the furs,am I really a puppy now? No, it can't be,I can't be a dog, mum,help me.
I realize now she can't understand me, because I'm a dog and I'm barking. Only yesterday I wished I were my neighbors dog,now I am my neighbors dog.

There’s something profoundly human in your writing. You don’t just build characters, you unfold them. Their emotions, flaws, and little sparks of hope make the story feel heartbreakingly alive. It’s rare to see writing that captures both pain and beauty so effortlessly. This chapter in particular carried a quiet strength; it hit harder than I expected, and it stayed. You’ve created something that resonates on a soul level.
