Enchanted

Todays is the day I think while I get my clothes on, I decided to go with wearing a black graphic shirt and an oversized denim jacket topped of with black jeans and my white converse trainers.

I then quickly went in the bathroom to brush my teeth and spray myself with some Gucci perfume, not forgetting to put it in my bag.

I check my phone before placing it in my pocket knowing that my best friends would be meeting me at the school car park at 7:30 and I realise that it's 7:20 now, well crap they'll have to just suck it up if I'm late.

I walk into the kitchen and grab a granola bar and take a bite then just placing it back on the bench knowing that I won't have enough time to eat the whole bar.

While I'm walking outside the breeze hits me, damn I hate the winter it looks as if it's gunna snow soon I think as I look up at the clouds which are grey.

Taking a seat in my blue Audi I start the engine and listen as my car roars to life. The sound is music to my ears.

Swerving on the roads trying to avoid traffic to get to school faster, the last thing I want is my friends to worry about me being late or scold me.

Finally arriving I see my friends Maggie and Chase at the car park but on the seats near the entrance likely waiting for my appearance.

I didn't miss all the students acting off today. Some seemed to be on edge with wide eyes looking around and others whispering to their friends as if something shocking is going to happen.

Sighing to myself instead of watching people I decide to hop out my car, I lock it with my car keys and put them in my bag before taking my phone out and I notice it's only 7:25 minutes until class begins. The joys.

"LEXI!!" I hear Chase shout from where he's sat. No doubt he's gunna scold me for keeping them waiting.

As I walk up I see him now chatting with Maggie and whatever they seem to be discussing looks serious.

"Hola, putas!!" I shout at them as I reach them giving Maggie a little fright while Chase just smiles at me.

"Missed me??" I ask jokingly with a laugh.

"You bet! Have you heard the news Lex??"

I give her a look that says 'well go on then."

She clears her throat before explaining "People are all discussing about Phoenix!!" She exclaims but when she mentioned his name in a hush tone.

I rolled my eyes "You're telling me this because?? And why do you seem so excited is he as popular as Lady Gaga or something? I said my voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Lex!! Now isn't the time for your sarcastic ass!! This guy is dangerous and I'm warning you!!"

"She's right Lexi, Phoenix is no good. You never met him but he's been here before he put a student and 3 teachers in hospital for trying to restrain him." Chase says while cringing from the memory.

"Well I don't care about him, I noticed the school was odd today but all this for a guy." I roll my eyes.

"He's also been to prison more times then you can imagine." Chase rebuts.

"Wow, congratulations to him." I say while clapping rather unamused by this whole thing.

So what if he's been to prison a few times and put people in a hospital, that doesn't make me fear him.

"People are deadly scared to just be in the same building as him because of what he's capable of and here you are making a whole joke of it." Maggie scolds.

I just reply shrugging my shoulders because seriously how am I supposed to react? Run for the hills?? Hide in the toilets?? Pffft.

She then stands up and grabs her bag "Come on guys let's end this conversation we need to go to class anyway."

Chase nods while I just walk beside them quietly. Loads of people inside school seem to be anxious about this Phoenix guy coming to school since students are running around the halls and scurrying about.

I just head to English with Maggie since she has the same subject while Chase has History now.

We both wave him off as we head into English and sit next to each other like usual, we don't sit at the front or the back just in the middle I like to be able to look out the window.

I get my stationary out and see Maggie passing my English file my way which I return a grateful smile for and she smiles back.

"This lesson is going to drag I can feel it." I whisper to Maggie as she seems to be glancing around the class almost searching for something.

"What are you looking for?" I question which she answers "I just wanted to see if we had the devil in our first lesson." I scoff and notice the rest of the class seeming to be on edge.

The teacher Mr Rocker walks in with a smile on his face so big it almost reaches his ears. Almost.

Great I think. This is going to be great.

"Good morning students, today we are going to be learning about Romeo and Juliet we will watch the movie then read the book. Mr Rocker tells us as he then walks to his desk pushing all his files and paper around looking for the movie.

"Here it is, now then-" Mr Rocker is soon cut off with a bang. Gasps are heard from all over the room as a guy barges through.

He looks rough, very rough. He has black hair a stubble with scars. The thing that seemed to amaze me and probably every one else in the room was probably this dudes size. He was humongous! He was so tall he had to duck to get into the room and his shoulders where so wide he appeared to have came straight from the wild.

This guy was something else. I also noticed his aura. So dark, it screamed dominance and respect. He was wearing all black with a black leather jacket.

The teacher gave him a look being saying "Phoenix, nice of you to make an appearance."
