Prologue ~ Why do you have a ladder..? • Sal POV

I yawn as I get up from the mattress on the floor. I realize once again that we moved. I still can't believe that dad left all of our memories behind right after I got out of the mental hospital. I hear the living room tv, dad must have turned it on for Gizmo, or Giz as I like to call him. I hear yelling, it sounds like Larry, I sigh as I get up and walk to the window in my 'bedroom'. "Why are you screaming!?..and why are you on a ladder!?" I yell at Larry, my new friend, as I open window. "It's 5 am! " "Eh" He shrugs. "Fuck you" I say merrily, slamming the window on his fingers. He screaches. I laugh and get ready for the day.
