Duchess P.O.V
I looked out my window again to see if he was out there, but he wasn't. I think he might be mad at me, but he told me he wasn't mad that I was leaving. Did he lie to me? he never lies to me. My mom walked inside my room, and came to stand next to me by my window, she was quiet for a good 3 mins before she broke the silence
"You know how proud I am of you, and I'm sure Danny is just running late" she kissed my head
"What if he's mad that Im leaving" I asked my mom, he said he would be here to say bye to me before he went to his football game.
"He's not mad at you, he could never be mad at you" she hugged me
"You're auntie just pulled up, we got to get you and your bags downstairs, before you guys are late to your flight" Mom walked towards my door, and started grabbing my suitcases
I walked away from the window, and started helping her grab my suitcases, mom started walking downstairs.
I looked around my room one last time, and said goodbye before I closed the door and walked downstairs. Right when I got at the edge of the stairs, Danny opened the door, looking out of breath.
"I'm sorry I'm late Duch, I had to run home to get something" he walked over and hugged me
"Its okay, what did you have to run home, and get" I smiled at him
"I had to run home and get this" he held up a necklace with the initials D and D on it. He put the necklace on me "Now, whenever you get down, or miss me too much, you will always have a part of me with you" he smiled at me
"Thank you Danny, I'll never take it off" I hugged him again
Auntie Laina, Daniels mom walked up to me and hugged me "I'm going to miss you sweetie, promise us that you'll call"
"Come on baby, you're aunties waiting for you outside" Mom told me
"Ok"I looked towards my best friend, and walked right in front of him
