Chapter 1 Eileen
I walk up to my new apartment room towards the door and look down at the key in my hand smiling knowing this is the new start I need.
I unlock the door and I am welcomed by the warm light that shines through the curtains. I set the keys down on the table and take a deep breathe before jumping up and down dancing around the room loving how much space I have all to myself.
"I can't believe I did this!" I squeal and walk quickly to my new bedroom where a queen size mattress sits on top of a beautiful wooden frame with well fitted sheets already placed on top and a big blue cloud like blanket with pillows matching perfectly with it.
I look towards the window to see that it is daydream design I had dreamed about having. My heart lifts more than ever when I look out the window to see sitting on a branch was a nest with the mother bird taking care of her young ones.
I throw my stuff down on the dresser happily and plop right onto the bed curling up into the blankets, that smells of the fresh lavender fragrance from being right out of the dryer relaxes my body, as I let my eyes slowly close and my mind wonder.

Walking down the sidewalk towards the club for a celebratory drink for myself I fix my black fluffy skirt and my floral laced pantyhose that I had put on after waking up from a much needed nap and warm shower. I walk into the club and towards the bar area thinking how my blankets felt like I had floated away on a dream cloud that had taken me on an adventurous journey...
"What will you be having tonight?"
Thoughts were interrupted when a deep low voice with a thick accent gets my attention from the other side of the bar and as I look up into his eyes, my heart feels as if it's in his hand and he is squeezing it like it's nothing. All I could think to answer his question was...
"You..."
Damn, daydreaming can do miracles 😂
