Part one

Aizowa called Bakugou to his desk. "There's been an accident. It was your sister. She's in the hospital. It's bad."

Bakugou froze. "What do you mean?!" He asked, not wanting to believe it.

"Bakugou, come on." He pulled Bakugou out of the classroom, as president Mic entered.

They hurried to Aizowa's car.

On the way, Bakugou got a message from Kirishima.

Shitty Hair

You alright, Man? You didn't look to good when you left.

It's Aiko. She's in the hospital.

You want me to see if my Mom can pick me up to go with you?

Please. Aizowa said it's not good.

Okay. See you soon.

They arrived at the hospital and Bakugou hurried inside. His mother was already waiting and he ran over to her. "What happened?!"

She shook her head. "We don't know. Nobody will tell me anything!"

"Where's Dad?" He figured he'd be there with Mitsuki.

"On his way. He wasn't at home when I got the call."

"Oh."

He arrived soon after.

Bakugou couldn't sit still, and when Kirishima arrived, he was pacing the room. He ran over to the red head as soon as he saw him.

Bakugou immediately hugged the taller, shocking Kirishima. He brushed it off as worry, and rubbed calming circles in his back.

Kirishima watched a Doctor walk over to Mistuki, and told Bakugou. Bakugou was evermore anxious, so in attempt to calm him Kirishima took his hand, squeezing it reassuringly.

Bakugou sent him a stiff smile and squeezed Kirishima's hand back.

"Aiko is in critical condition still. We've managed to get her out of the woods for now, and are hoping for a fast recovery. You can't visit her untill we're sure she's stable, but it shouldn't be to long a wait." The doctor left them, and Kirishima led Bakugou to the chairs to wait.

An hour passed. Two hours. They were getting increasingly worried. Bakugou had fallen asleep, worry exhausting him.

He was woken by sirens. Doctors and nurses were hurrying to the room they'd put Akio in.

Bakugou ran over, dragging Kirishima with him, he wanted to see her. To no avail though. He was moved out of the way by the nurse's as they moved Akio to another room. He was told to stay out in the hall.

He burst into tears. Worry, turned to panic. Kirishima didn't know what to do. He hugged the blonde, who just sobbed, soaking Kiri's shirt in tears.

"Kiri, do you think she's gonna make it?"

Kirishima did want to give him false hope. "I don't know Bakugou, I don't know."

Bakugou didn't let go of Kirishima's hand, not when the Doctor told them Aiko didn't make it. Not when his Mother cried. Not when Kiri's Mother came to pick him up.

She understood, and let him stay. Bakugou probably needed his friend, and she was glad that her son could be there for him.

Aizowa had returned to the school hours ago. And now Bakugou went home with his Mother, Kirishima with him.

Bakugou dragged Kirishima to his room. "Take my mind off her."

"How?"

"I don't know. Do something."

"Bakugou I don't know how. I don't know how to help you. I'm sorry."

Bakugou flopped on his bed, face down. He startled Kirishima by yelling into the pillow. He would have expected him to just tell out loud.

He sat on the bed next to Bakugou, and rested his hand on the once-again sobbing teen. Bakugou sat up and hugged Kirishima again. "Sorry for all the hugs, it's not like me."

Kirishima smiled, "I don't mind. It's actually kinda nice. Just wish..." Just wish it wasn't for the reason its for. He was going to say.

Bakugou blushed at the comment. "Thanks."

"For what?"

"For being here. It's nice."

Kirishima smiled again. "Anytime! It's my job to as your best bro!"

Bakugou let of Kirishima.

"You called me Kiri."

"What?"

"Earlier. You called me Kiri."

"Do you not like that?"

"Call me Kiri more often." He smiled. "I like the nickname!"

Bakugou blushed. "Fine."

"Yay! You'll call me something other than Shitty Hair now!" He hugged Bakugou happily.

"Get off me!" He groaned, as he struggled to push Kirishima off.

They fell off the bed, ending up tangled together on the floor, and laughing. Mistuki found them like that when she came to tell that food was on the way.

"Pizzas almost- what the fuck?!"

The boys were laughing too hard to say anything. Mitsuki smiled. She was glad Kirishima had taken his mind off things.

"BOYS!PIZZAS ON THE WAY!"

Bakugou manged to sit up just then. "ALRIGHT OLD HAG! YA DIDN'T HAVE TA YELL!"

She smiled, and let them be.

Kirishima pushed himself up off the floor coming almost nose-to-nose with Bakugou. "Kirishima?" Bakugou breathed out.

"Yeah?"

"You're not gonna leave me, are you?"

"Never."

"BOYS! PIZZAS HERE!"

They got up, and headed to the kitchen. They ate quietly, no one said anything for fear of Aiko's death becoming more than just a bad dream.

After dinner, Kirishima had to run home and grab some clothes cuz Bakugou's clothes were too small for him. (But then he went back to Bakubro's house)

Bakugou couldn't sleep. He kept seeing Akio on the hospital bed as they took her away. He turned to face the sleeping Kirishima.

His hair fell into his mouth, and Bakugou moved it. The red head was real pretty, adorable at times even. He always manged to make him feel better. Even earlier, he'd gotten his mind if Aiko, and even made him laugh.

He appreciated what the boy was doing. He wasn't close to his sister, but he'd loved her all the same. He'd always been protective younger brother, but that was cause he cared.

Bakugou let a few tears slip out.

He intertwined his fingers with Kirishima's outstretched hand. It was a comforting feeling.
