Chapter 1, the beginning and the end of a life

I button up my silk shirt and throw a blazer over my shoulders before I walk out into the hallway. My heels send chilling clicks to the hallway as soon as I leave my room. I find myself sitting in a chair in front of a long table, I stare at the man holding a briefcase. Besides where I sit.

“open it.”

I say, my Russian accent causes him to shake as he slowly opens the briefcase. I grab the gun sitting comfortably in the case molded to it and I put it to his head. “how much am I paying you for this?”

a bit of his sweat drops into my hand before he says, “1500….”

I reach down to my purse and grab a lot of cash it looks to be about 1500 put the cash on the table and put the gun back into the case.

“ leave.”

he scurried out with the cash in hand shutting the door quietly before he officially gets out of the house house.

I point at a fairly discrete man,”follow him, make sure he doesn’t tell his friends, and take this with you.”

walks over as a hand him the gun he just told me.

“ I only owed him 600.”

he smiles and walks out the same way the other guy did but this time with a smile plastered on his face. A few hours later he comes back with the gun but this time with an empty chamber. I grab the gun from him and wipe it down with a towel before putting it back in the case.

“Where is the money I lost lost?”

He hands be the money out of his jacket pocket and sits in the chair diagonally from me.

“Grab six hundred out of the stack.”

That’s exactly what he does, he leaves after stuffing the money in his pocket.

A few hours later…

I put away every ounce of cocaine and every last spot that goes with it. My ex-husband is letting me see my daughters for the first time in years.

Although I look entirely different they should still recognize me. I don’t sound the same, I smell like gunpowder and I’ve gotten ten times the tattoos I had six years ago. I Hear a knock at the door knowing who it is, I then put my hair in a low messy bun and then open the door.

“Hey girls..”

They look at me and just walk and clearly knowing who I am but wishing they never met me.

I direct them to a room that has a few things to keep them entertained and walk over to Viktor.

… Viktor is my ex husband…

“What’s with the tattoos and you smell like you live in a crack house,” he says as soon as I get within two feet of him.

“I do live in a crack house and I make a living off of killing people, selling drugs, and being the queen of Russia.”

He touches his forehead before saying, “I should’ve known that was you the moment the news mentioned you slashed across your victims eyes, blinding them before their inevitable deaths.”

I smile, “they were that specific huh?”

“Your sickening.” That was the last thing you said to me before he walked into the room filled with laughing children.

“He’s weak.”

I walk upstairs to the other members of my mafia standing above a dimly lit map trying to pinpoint something.

“Find where Viktor Petronoff lives.”

One of the other members, Dimitri, smiles before he points to a place in the middle of an almost cyber city.

“He picked murder city to raise my kids, I want him dead, and I want the honors.”

I walk downstairs and stand beside Viktor.

“I need to speak with you outside.”

He points out the window before he says, “ it’s raining.”

“I know.”

We walk out side and I just stare at him while he yells at me for everything I did and the next thing I know I slash his eyes twice before I dig the knife into his chest and then drag it down his belly button, killing him immediately.

I look down to see my white button up turned red. I then look over to see my three children staring at the window crying.

I’ll leave victors body laying on the ground getting drenched with the rain. I walked through the front door and shut it. The girls just stare at me in tears trying to figure out a single reason I would do that.

“You’ll learn how to do that one day”

I continue to walk until I reach the room still filled with men.

“Lev, dispose of his body, don’t leave a drop of blood.”

He nods, walking out already wearing glove’s.

“Svetlana, send the girls to the universal school for girls.”

She nods before getting on the phone at school, threatening them to accept the application and have them there by the end today.

I walk out of the room heading downstairs to the three small girls waiting in fear for me under the table.

“You three are going to a new school, I’ll never see you again.”

I walk back out of the room feeling relieved to actually start over with a clean slate, yet it still drips red.

A few hours later the girls have been taken to their new homes, I pull out all the things I had put away in the walls, cabinet’s, floor’s, you name it, something was there.I button up my silk shirt and throw a blazer over my shoulders before I walk out into the hallway.
