Chapter 1
My name is Raina de luca I just moved to the small town of shadow hills. I wake up to my alarm going off at 5am, I get dressed in a pair of black leggings and a pink tank top. I grab my phone and head phones and walk to the park near my house. As I reach the trail, I start to work up a jog and then a run. About a mile in I feel like someone is watching me, u stop to get a drink for a minute and sit on a log. Right before I get up a hand wraps around my mouth and waist. I'm dragged through the underbrush for what feels like forever because we reach a clearing. I look around and see that the entire medow is filled with people. I beg the person to let me go he looks at me and says the goddess has chosen you. That I should feel thrilled. The people start to chant " the goddess has chosen, the blood of the moon has blessed us" . I panic and make a run for it. They chase me, I hear there foot falls as i run. I hear a whistling sound before I feel a pinch on my neck. I stumbled and reach to pull out a dart. I fall to the ground, slowly falling into oblivion. But before I do I hear the man say that creepy chant once more before Nothing.
