Interesting read in an offbeat manner
"The novel, which it technically is, resembles a conversation between intelligent, judgemental, but uninspired friends. Anecdotes, philosophy, much-dissected beliefs, all woven into a narrative style with seemingly no real direction. The reader is not forced to read between lines, to guess events, or feel triumphant on correct guesses. The climax is always good, but entirely disconnected from the build-up. A good read on 'uninspiring' evenings."
